God never sleeps.
He is always watching over us.
And his heart grieves when even one of his children goes astray. Just like a shepherd who won't rest if one of his sheep has gone missing, so our Lord won't relent until his child is back in his arms.
He is looking for them now my friends.
He is searching for his lost sheep to bring them home.
And as he calls out their names, he is waiting for them to respond and say "Yes Lord."
June 20, 2022 Our Prayer for our Loved One Today:
Ezekiel 34:11-13 NIV [11] “ ‘For this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I myself will search for my sheep and look after them. [12] As a shepherd looks after his scattered flock when he is with them, so will I look after my sheep. I will rescue them from all the places where they were scattered on a day of clouds and darkness. [13] I will bring them out from the nations...and I will bring them into their own land.
Father God, we come before you today in pain. Broken. At the end of our own understanding. But thankful because we know we can completely trust your word. Lord, we hold on to the belief that the promises of scripture will come to pass. Lord, thank you today that you promise to search after (our loved one) and look after (him/her). Lord, just as a shepherd looks after his scattered flock, we ask that you will look after (our loved one) and that you will rescue (him/her) from the place where (he/she) is at today, a place of clouds and darkness. Lord, today bring (our loved one) out of that foreign place (he/she) is living in and deliver (him/her) back to (his/her) home to (his/her) family. Lord we know that nothing is impossible with you and we ask that this deliverance comes today. Lord we pray this in your son's Holy Name! Amen!

You Are Set Apart
You may need to pray this today because you need to remember how precious the hard to love are...
Yesterday may have been hard. Yesterday your heart may have been broken. Yesterday you may have shattered.
But God knows you. And He has set you apart. And he has appointed you for such a time as this.
And just as he has set you apart, he has set your loved one apart.
Thanking God that He loves perfectly. And learning to love like Him.

His Power Saves
Today, for some of you reading this, it's hard to simply breathe let alone try to fake it through your day. I understand. I have walked that path.
My prayer for you today is that you will press into HIS light. I PRAY that you will feel his love wrap you up.
And our hearts cry is that our loved ones would somehow, someway, through a divine appointment discover how much God loves them and they would be strengthened by that love.
He has a perfect plan for your life. He has a perfect plan for your loved one's life. Hold on to the hope of that truth.

A simple promise..
He is always with us, watching over all of us.

We believe that one day you will bring (him/her) back to "this land" - to us...to (his/her) family, to those who love (him/her). Lord, we believe today that you will not ever leave (our loved one) and that you will do what you have promised, that your love will lead (him/her) home. Lord, we trust in your words this morning. A New Creation
Not long ago I was talking to a mom, so much like myself. Where the deep wounds of our past drove us to behave a certain way in the here and now.
Needing love.
Needing control.
Needing justification.
Needing validation.
Needing to atone for our sins or the sins that were perpetrated on us in our past.
Because we didn’t believe that we were worthy.
Because we didn’t believe that we could be completely healed.
Because we didn’t believe that we were “enough.”
But in Him, my friends..you are more than enough.You have been made new! Nothing in your past justifies OR holds you back.If you want to be completely free, believe this one thing today.
You have been made new!
And this same truth, this same transformation is waiting for our loved ones. It will not be overdue a single day.
June 14, 2022 Our prayer for our loved one today:
2 Corinthians 5:17,19 NLT[17] This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! [19] For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people's sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation.
Oh Lord our Lord, what a glorious God you are! You have given us an amazing gift. The gift of new life in You. We pray today for this revelation in [our loved one]. Because of your death on the cross, we believe that [our loved one] can become a new creation through you. [His/her] old life will be completely gone and [his/her] new life will begin. What a day that will be. Lord, for those of us who love you and have already received this gift, we request of you today that [our loved one] would once and for all be reconciled with you. A Free Life
Right now, in this present time, many of us are feeling confined, maybe even like we are in a sort of "prison." We are being held hostage to our circumstances.
But I truly believe that our joy, our inner peace, our happiness is really our choice. We can choose peace instead of anxiety, faith instead of fear, hope instead of hurt, freedom instead of bondage.
And it is through the strength of God that we do that. I tried for too many years to will myself better, to pull myself up by my bootstraps, to do it myself. When I SURRENDERED I was set free.
If you are chained to your negative emotions you can choose today to be set free.
And I am praying that our loved ones today, make the same choice.

Oh, Abba Daddy, we come to you today broken, truly at the end of ourselves. Entrapped by our own fears, anxiety and desire to control. Lord, we ask that you free us! Lord you came to set us free and we desire to receive all that you have for us. And Lord, we humbly desire freedom for (our loved one). You came to give (him/her) a free life. Lord, we pray that today (our loved one) will take a stand. That (he/she) will wake up and say NO MORE! That (he/she) will fully surrender to all that You have for (him/her). Lord, we believe that you can lift the chains of slavery that keep them in bondage. Lord, deliver us all from the things that entangle us. Lift the darkness and bring us into the light. God is Always on Time
One day I was sitting on my chair and I heard an audible voice say Isaiah 44. I know God can do this, but it had never ever happened to me. So I opened my Bible to Isaiah 44 and this was the promise that God gave me.
I have clung to that promise during the darkest of days. I have held tightly to the knowledge that my God won’t make a promise He can’t keep.
And I believe whether he says it out loud to you or not, His promises are for ALL of us. This promise is for you too. And when we are walking through the valley of the shadows, the ONLY thing we have complete assurance in is that His promises are true and for each one of us, for such a time as this.
Hold on today, my friends. God is always on time.

Lord we honor and glorify you this morning knowing that you created each of us perfectly and wonderfully. We thank you for forming (our loved one) in the womb and for your desire to help (our loved one). We pray that you cast out all fear that (our loved one) may have today because You have chosen (him/her). Lord just as only you can poor water on a thirsty land and create streams of water through a dry ground, we believe that You will poor our Your Spirit on (our loved one) and rain blessings down on (him/her). Then (our loved one) will spring up like grass in a meadow, like a poplar tree by a flowing stream. We believe that in that moment (our loved one) will say "I BELONG TO THE LORD." The Vision Will Be Fulfilled
As we walk through fear and doubt and hopelessness our armor is to keep His promises in front of us.
While we can't see it, he is creating a beautiful tapestry in each of our lives. The finished product won't be revealed until we meet him face to face. But be assured that what may look ugly to us right now, will come together in the end to be something incredible.
I believe with all my heart that God will use all of this pain, all of the knots, all of the insanity for something very beautiful.
June 11, 2022 Our Prayer for Our Loved One Today
Habakkuk 2:3 TLB [3] But these things I plan won't happen right away. Slowly, steadily, surely, the time approaches when the vision will be fulfilled. If it seems slow, do not despair, for these things will surely come to pass. Just be patient! They will not be overdue a single day!
Lord we come before you today worried, fearful, anxious, doubting. What we see around us doesn't always reconcile with your love. So we question. But your word gives us confidence. Your word says that you are working behind the scenes right now in (our loved one's) life. That even though we can't see your work yet, that slowly, steadily and surely the time is approaching when the vision for (our loved one) will be fulfilled. And because of your promises, Lord, we will not despair because we trust that these things will come to past in our life and in (our loved ones) life. Help us to be patient as we walk this difficult journey waiting, trusting, believing that the moment, that moment when (our loved one) says “yes, Lord” will be in your perfect timing and will not be overdue a single moment. Each one of us is. No one is excluded. It’s just a matter of when we are going to step into that truth.
He sees you my friends. He knows what you are going through. And he alone can take your pain, your struggles, your messes and make them into something marvelous in your life and the life of others.
Today I thank God that he chose my prodigal and pray with all my soul that soon he will step into the abundant life God has waiting for him.

May He Give You Peace
In the middle of the difficulties it is often so hard to stop and look at our loved one as a valued human being. We are often so at war with them that everything becomes about the battle or about the saving and the loving is pushed back.
So this morning, let's stop for a moment and just close our eyes and picture our loved ones the way God does. Whole and healed and lovable.
And then let's pray this blessing over them this morning.

Father God, the God who made heaven and earth, the God I praise you today. You are the faithful one. You are my help and my hope. Lord, you are the only hope for (our loved one), the One who upholds (our loved one), who takes up (his/her) cause, who provides (him/her) food, who is able to heal (our loved one) and who holds the power to set (him/her) free. Lord, I am weak today. I am weary. I am tired. I sit at your feet and ask for more. I need more of you Lord. More confidence that you will give me everything I need today to be strong. I admit that I can’t do this on my own. But in you and through your strength, I can. Lord, we come before you today on behalf of (our loved one). Lord, we believe that it is You who gives strength to the weak and power to the powerless. Rescue
He asks, "Do you trust me?"
I say "Of course Lord, I trust you."
He says, "Do you really really trust me?"
He says, "Then surrender. Let me handle this. I am fighting this battle for you in ways you can't even imagine!"

[1-13] God , you're my refuge. I trust in you and I'm safe!" That's right---he rescues you from hidden traps, shields you from deadly hazards. His huge outstretched arms protect you--- under them you're perfectly safe; his arms fend off all harm....Yes, because God 's your refuge, ...Evil can't get close to you, harm can't get through the door. He ordered his angels to guard you wherever you go. If you stumble, they'll catch you; their job is to keep you from falling. [14-16] "If you'll hold on to me for dear life," says God , "I'll get you out of any trouble. I'll give you the best of care if you'll only get to know and trust me. Call me and I'll answer, be at your side in bad times; I'll rescue you...I'll give you a long life, give you a long drink of salvation!"
Abba Father...We come before you on behalf of our children, our families... because you are our refuge and our hope in times of trouble. Lord, we ask today that (our loved one) would trust in you and (he/she) would be safe! Lord, rescue (our loved one) from hidden traps, shield (him/her) from all the deadly hazards in (his/her) life! With your HUGE outstretched arms we pray protection over (our loved one) that under You (he/she) would be perfectly safe and that Your arms would fend off all harm. YES God! Because You are a refuge we pray that no evil would even be able to come close to (our loved one) and that NO harm would be able to get through the door of your protection. Lord, we ask that you would order your angels to guard over (our loved one) wherever (he/she) goes. Lord, if (our loved one) stumbles, we ask that You angels will catch (him/her) and keep (him/her) from falling. And it’s easy to absorb ourselves in our own pain.
Yet they are in pain as well.
These are the same things that our loved ones face every single day.
That is not your destiny my friends. And it is not theirs.
Praying strength and courage today for all of us.

Almighty God, we thank you today that while we might feel abandoned by our family, friends and neighbors, you have not abandoned us. You promise to be with us wherever we go. Lord, thank you that you are our strength and courage. Today I pray that you will walk with (our loved one). That you will pursue (him/her). They Will Flourish
Hosea, the story of unconditional love. Of redemption. Of how even after this woman prostitutes herself and keeps going back to her old life, Hosea still loves her.
And it is in the Bible to show us about God's relationship with us. No matter what we've done, no matter how deep we are in the pit, no matter how lost we are...
God can find us, God can pull us out, God can transform us.
Because He loves us.
That is hope. And that is the promise that I cling to every day.
And as God continues to show us His unconditional love, by example we learn how to love others.
Today I pray that I will love my tribe the way God loves me.

Set Free
A former dealer and felon.....now a youth counselor.
A former prostitute....now helps people get into treatment.
A former adulterer...now ministers to the homeless.
A person formally deep in the throes of addiction....now a pastor.
These are the stories of u-turns. The stories of deliverance. These are the stories of real people, after 10, 20 or more years of oppression, being set free.
These are the stories I cling to each day.
Because these are the stories of hope.

[2] For God says through Isaiah, When the time was right, I listened to you; and that day you were delivered, I was your help. Look, now the time is right! See, your day of deliverance is here!
Father God, we know that your heart breaks when any of your children fall away from you. Lord, we believe that before today you set things in motion for (our loved one), that you already know the appointed time for everything. Lord, we ask that today Your compassion would be upon (our loved one) and that (he/she) would cry out to You. We pray that TODAY would be the day of deliverance for (our loved one) and that You would listen to (him/her) cry for help and set (him/her) free! Lord, we believe Your word is truth. We know that you have a plan and purpose for (our loved one’s) life. Filled to Measure
I remember trying...
Trying so hard to love my prodigal.
Striving in my own strength to manufacture the love that I needed to muster up to do life with him.
I failed.
Almost daily I failed.
The more I failed the more I realized just how exorbitant God’s love was for me. In spite of myself, he loved me beyond my wildest imagination.
When I grasped that, I was able to love my prodigal out of the overflow of all the love He has for me.
If you can grasp this one thing today....
Know how very much he loves you. And you will be able to love out of that abundance.
June 2, 2022 Our prayer for our loved one today:
Ephesians 3:14-19 NIV
[14] For this reason I kneel before the Father, [15] from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. [16] I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, [17] so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, [18] may have power, together with all the Lord's holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, [19] and to know this love that surpasses knowledge---that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
Lord, we kneel before you today Father, at times distant, at times skeptical, mostly desperate. Lord, we long to feel your presence Lord and even more we long for (our loved one) to feel you near to (him/her). Lord, we pray today that out of Your glorious riches, you would strengthen (our loved one) in (his/her) inner being, with the power of your Spirit, so that Christ would dwell in (his/her) heart through faith. Lord, I pray that (our loved one) through Your power would grasp today, in this moment, just how wide, how long, how high and how deep Your exorbitant love is for (him/her). Lord, I pray that (he/she) would know, deep in (his/her) spirit, that it's this love and this power that will get (him/her) through this day. Lord, we ask today that you would fill (our loved one) with the FULL measure of You! Lord, we believe through this love (our loved one) can conquer anything. Lord, we thank You in advance for what you are about to do in (our loved one's) life and wait in confidence today. In your son's precious name we pray! Amen

A Love that Died for Us
Right now…
There’s a lot of fear going around.
Fear of loss of income
Fear of isolation
Fear of relapse
Fear of death.
There’s a lot of fear going around.
But God.
But God’s love.
His LOVE....His love for us is what can dispel every one of our fears. The love that placed him on the cross. The love that died for us. That love is ours. All we have to do is recognize it and step into that precious love.
May you know and understand and experience God's love for you in a profound and real way today. And I pray that our loved ones experience that as well.
May 31, 2022 Our prayer for our loved one today:
1 John 4:16,18 NIV [16] And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them[18] There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear...
Abba Daddy thank you! Thank you for being the God of love. Lord we know and rely on this truth. That you are love. Today, we come before your thrown and ask that [our loved one] would begin to know and rely on this truth as well. That You love [our loved one]. Lord, I pray that [our loved one] would chose to live in Your love and that You would come and live in [him/her], because THERE IS NO FEAR IN LOVE! Lord, whatever it is that is holding [our loved one] back, whatever it is that they fear, let YOUR LOVE drive that fear out of [him/her] today! More than anything else we pray that [our loved one] would experience this truth in a real and tangible way. There is nothing to fear when [he/she] is walking in Your precious and perfect love. We pray that that love would rain down on [him/her]. We pray this in your son's holy and precious name. Amen

In Your Care
Surrender...
It's a daily thing….
Sometimes a moment by moment thing…
And these verses remind us that we can fully trust the One who keeps us safe, who shelters us from danger.
Lord...I place myself in your care.
Lord...I place my loved one in your care.
May 30, 2022 Our prayer for our loved one today:
Psalm 31:3-5 (GNV) You are my refuge and defense; guide me and lead me as you have promised. Keep me safe from the trap that has been set for me; shelter me from danger. I place myself in your care. You will save me, Lord; you are a faithful God.
Father God, we come to you today knowing that you are a faithful God who is ALWAYS good and always desires the best for each of us. Lord, we praise You because You are doing a work in each of us. We thank you that You are a refuge and our defense Lord. We ask today that (our loved one) would whisper Your name and that You would be a refuge and defense for (him/her). We ask that You guide (our loved one) and lead (him/her) as you have promised Lord. Keep (our loved one) safe from the traps the enemy has set for (him/her) and shelter (him/her) from danger. We place (our loved one) in your care today. Lord we are confident that You will save (him/her) because you ARE a faithful God. We thank You that you are trustworthy and that we know these things will happen as you ordain them to. We pray this in your Son's precious name. Amen.
