He Can

I am weak...

He is strong.

I can't...

He can.

March 30, 2023 Our Prayer For Our Loved One Today

Philippians 4:13 NIV

[13] I can do all this through him who gives me strength.

Lord, I am weak today. I am weary. I am tired. I sit at your feet and ask for more. I need more of you Lord. More confidence that you will give me everything I need today to be strong. I admit that I can’t do this on my own. But in you and through your strength, I can. Lord, we come before you today on behalf of (our loved one). Lord, we believe that it is You who gives strength to the weak and power to the powerless. We ask that you would infuse (our loved one) today with Your strength so that (our loved one) can make the next right choice. We thank you for Your faithfulness in our lives! In Jesus Holy Name we pray! Amen.

No Fear

Fear. Fear is such an integral part of what drives us. It is often the catalyst for what drives our loved ones towards destructive behaviors. And it is what can drive us to control, to manipulate, to "over-care" for our loved ones.

But this...

This...

This promise from God to you...

You do NOT need to fear...

For He is with you...

He will strengthen you...

He will hold you up with his mighty mighty hand...

Because YOU, my friend....are chosen.

March 29, 2023 Our prayer for our loved one today:

Isaiah 41:8-10 NIV [8] “But you, Israel, my servant, Jacob, whom I have chosen, you descendants of Abraham my friend, [9] I took you from the ends of the earth, from its farthest corners I called you. I said, 'You are my servant'; I have chosen you and have not rejected you. [10] So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Father God, we come before you today hopeful. Filled with faith because we trust you. Lord, you are a God who can make anything new. You are the God of fresh starts. And you are a aGod who doesn't break His promises. We know that (our loved one) is chosen! You called (him/her). Lord, we ask that today would be the day that (our love done) hears that soft voice in (his/her) ear that says, "You, my precious child, you are my servant; I have chose you and have not rejected you." We pray that (our loved one) would not fear because (he/she) would feel You with (him/her). We pray that (our loved one) would not be dismayed because (he/she) will know that You are (his/her) God! We ask that you strengthen (our loved one) and help (him/her), that you would uphold our precious (loved one) with Your righteous mighty right hand. We believe You for all of this today because we know that You love (our loved one) even more than we do. Give us the courage and strength to walk through this day with that confident knowledge. In Jesus precious name we pray. Amen

Unforced Rhythms of Grace

“If you really had faith, you wouldn’t be in this situation.”

“You must have some sin in your life or this wouldn’t’ be happening.”

“Well maybe if you read your Bible more, or got into a small group, things would go better for you.”

I was tired. I was worn out. I was looking for relief.

I was bleeding and yet, instead of receiving care for my wounds, I was being wounded more.

And the wounding was coming from the very people that were intended to support me.

Where was love? Where was grace?

And it occurred to me that there was only One who could recovery my life. No human could take this burden from me. It was the love of the Father that could show me real healing and rest.

Walk with him tonight. He won’t give you anything ill fitting or burdensome.

As you learn His rhythm of grace, He will set you free.

March 28, 2023 Our prayer of hope and healing tonight

Matthew 11:28-30 The Message (MSG) “Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.”

Heavenly Father, I confess to you tonight that I am tired. I am worn out. I have been wounded by the people I love. And I am at the end of myself. Lord, I know that the only recovery for my life is in you. I ask that you would give me real rest. I commit to walking with you, to working with you. Lord, show me the unforced rhythm of your amazing grace. Lord, I trust that no burden I am bearing is too heavy for me if I keep company with you. As I release this burden to you I step into a light and free life. Thank you Lord, that you have given that life to me to receive. I pray this in your son’s Holy Name. Amen

No Fear In Love

Right now…

There’s a lot of fear going around.

Fear of loss of income

Fear of isolation

Fear of relapse

Fear of death.

There’s a lot of fear going around.

But God.

But God’s love.

His LOVE....His love for us is what can dispel every one of our fears. The love that placed him on the cross. The love that died for us. That love is ours. All we have to do is recognize it and step into that precious love.

May you know and understand and experience God's love for you in a profound and real way today. And I pray that our loved ones experience that as well.

March 27, 2023 Our prayer for our loved one today:

1 John 4:16,18 NIV [16] And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them[18] There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear...

Abba Daddy thank you! Thank you for being the God of love. Lord we know and rely on this truth. That you are love. Today, we come before your thrown and ask that [our loved one] would begin to know and rely on this truth as well. That You love [our loved one]. Lord, I pray that [our loved one] would chose to live in Your love and that You would come and live in [him/her], because THERE IS NO FEAR IN LOVE! Lord, whatever it is that is holding [our loved one] back, whatever it is that they fear, let YOUR LOVE drive that fear out of [him/her] today! More than anything else we pray that [our loved one] would experience this truth in a real and tangible way. There is nothing to fear when [he/she] is walking in Your precious and perfect love. We pray that that love would rain down on [him/her]. We pray this in your son's holy and precious name. Amen

I Will Rescue

God never sleeps.

He is always watching over us.

And his heart grieves when even one of his children goes astray. Just like a shepherd who won't rest if one of his sheep has gone missing, so our Lord won't relent until his child is back in his arms.

He is looking for them now my friends.

He is searching for his lost sheep to bring them home.

And as he calls out their names, he is waiting for them to respond and say "Yes Lord."

March 26, 2023 Our Prayer for our Loved One Today:

Ezekiel 34:11-13 NIV [11] ‘For this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I myself will search for my sheep and look after them. [12] As a shepherd looks after his scattered flock when he is with them, so will I look after my sheep. I will rescue them from all the places where they were scattered on a day of clouds and darkness. [13] I will bring them out from the nations...and I will bring them into their own land.”

Father God, we come before you today in pain. Broken. At the end of our own understanding. But thankful because we know we can completely trust your word. Lord, we hold on to the belief that the promises of scripture will come to pass. Lord, thank you today that you promise to search after (our loved one) and look after (him/her). Lord, just as a shepherd looks after his scattered flock, we ask that you will look after (our loved one) and that you will rescue (him/her) from the place where (he/she) is at today, a place of clouds and darkness. Lord, today bring (our loved one) out of that foreign place (he/she) is living in and deliver (him/her) back to (his/her) home to (his/her) family. Lord we know that nothing is impossible with you and we ask that this deliverance comes today. Lord we pray this in your son's Holy Name! Amen!

He Sees You

He knows.

He knows the burdens you carry...

He knows your pain...He has felt it.

He sees you.

Let him catch your tears today...

Let him breathe healing into your hurting, broken heart...

Let him wrap you up today with His love...

March 25, 2023 Our prayer for our loved one today:

Isaiah 43:1-2,4 NIV [1] But now, this is what the Lord says---he who created you, Jacob, he who formed you, Israel: “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. [2] When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. [4] Since you are precious and honored in my sight, and because I love you, I will give people in exchange for you, nations in exchange for your life.

Heavenly Father, to be real God, our hearts are breaking today. The pain at times, can be unbearable. But You, You Lord are the one and only who can heal our hurting heart. Today we cling to your promises. Lord, because you created (our loved one), you formed (him/her) we need not fear. You have redeemed (our loved one). You have summoned (our loved one) by name and (he/she) is Yours! Lord we believe today in your promises that when (our loved one) passes through the deep waters, that You will be with (him/her) and when (our loved one) is drowning in the river of life, it will not sweep over (him/her). Lord we believe that even when (our loved one) walks through the fire, that You will protect (him/her) and not allow (him/her) to be burned. Lord, we trust that (our loved one) is precious and honored in Your sight and that because you loved (our loved one) so much you gave Your son, Jesus in exchange for (our loved one). You gave Him in exchange for (our loved one's) life. Lord, we are in awe of that sacrifice Lord. We do not take it lightly. And Lord, we pray today that (our loved one) would open (his/her) heart to see You in a very real way and (he/she) would understand in a moment, Your redemption and the abundant life you have waiting for (him/her)! We thank you for all you are doing in the heavenly realms that we can't see. We believe that you are at work in a mighty way. We trust in your deliverance today! We pray this in Jesus precious name. Amen!

Nothing Can Separate Us

One of the things that I know many of us have struggled with is not just dealing with the stronghold of addictions or mental health issues, but that in many cases, our loved ones walk away from their faith.

So friends, if you are struggling with this today, please hear me when I say this...

NOTHING can separate us from God's love. NOTHING. Not one thing you do or I do or our loved ones do can change that. He loves us immeasurably more than we could ever imagine. And he loves our loved ones right now, right where they are at no matter how fast they are running from him. So be assured, that NEVER EVER changes.

And as we are to love like our Heavenly Father, my heart is to demonstrate that same steadfast love. Do I love my prodigal in a way, that when he chooses to change, he will want to come home to the Lord?

I pray today that you will walk in this assurance.

NOTHING, NOTHING can separate us from His love!

March 24, 2023 Our prayer for our loved one today.

Romans 8:37-39 NIV [37] No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. [38] For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, [39] neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Lord, we come before you today grateful. Grateful for your promises and for your son's death on the cross. Because Lord, we believe these words today. That in ALL things (our loved one) can be more than a conqueror because of YOU who loves (him/her) immensely! Lord, we are convinced that NOTHING...not death or life, angels or demons, not the present or the future or ANY powers; not heights or depths or anything else in all of creation could EVER separate (our loved one) from your love that is in Christ Jesus. Oh Lord, it is easy to love the lovable God but there are days when I am unlovable and my child is unlovable. We THANK YOU today that your love is constant and exorbitant and never-ending. We pray today that (our loved one) will feel that love raining down on (him/her). And we ask Lord, that you would fill my heart with that kind of love for (our loved one). We thank you and praise you and ask these things in Jesus precious name. Amen!!!

He Gives Strength

Day in and day out, it can become harder to find peace.

Fear of relapse.

Sadness from loss.

Disappointment from unmet expectations.

Extreme busyness (sometimes to numb the pain).

So today, I claim these verses over my life. I claim these verses over my loved one’s life.

And I pray this over each of you who are struggling today.

May you be filled today with the gift of supernatural strength and peace that only He can give us

March 22, 2023 Our Prayer for our Loved One today:

Psalm 29:11 NIV[11] The Lord gives strength to his people; the Lord blesses his people with peace.

Abba daddy, we come to You this morning weak, tired and full of anxiety and turmoil because we know that our loved ones are wounded, lost and exhausted. Lord, we know that You are the only source of true healing, true freedom. Father God, we ask today that you would give strength to (our loved one) today, because we know that (our loved one) is Your precious child. We pray that You, in all of your love and mercy, pour out a special blessing of peace over (our loved one) as (he/she) struggles through this day. You are the author and giver of life. Lord, we pray today that (our loved one) would choose life. We believe, in faith, that your promise will come to be and we step in to your perfect peace for us today as well. We pray this in Your son’s precious name. Amen

Measureless Grace

The weight you are carrying….

It’s not yours to carry.

The burdens that you are holding on to…

Are not yours to bear.

But grace…

That measureless grace.

That is what is waiting for each of us…

If we are willing to lay it at the foot of the cross.

March 21, 2023 Our prayer for our Loved One today:

Psalm 55:22 TPT [22] So here's what I've learned through it all: Leave all your cares and anxieties at the feet of the Lord, and measureless grace will strengthen you.

Merciful Father, we sit at your feet today bearing the full weight of the burdens we are carrying. The load is heavy. Too heavy for us to manage on our own. Lord, we know that the only way we are going to continue to climb this mountain is if we hand this load off to you. Father, we release all of our cares, all of our anxieties all of our fears, over to you. Lord, we pray this for (our loved one) as well. (He/she) is suffocating under the weight of the strongholds and difficulties in (his/her) life. We pray for a releasing today. We pray that (our loved one) would let go of all that (he/she) is holding so tightly to, the things of this world that are of no use to (him/her). Those things that hold (him/her) back from experiencing the full measure of your glorious grace. Lord, strengthen (him/her). Fill (him/her) with the power that only you can give (our loved one). The God—strength that gives (him/her) the peace to say “Abba Father, I can’t, but you can.” We pray these things in your son’s precious name. Amen

His Love Will Lead Them Home

Redeem: To buy back, to claim. We have been claimed, my friend. We all have been claimed. We were bought for the price of a life. Every last one of us. The greatest gift of love ever given.

And our love and compassion towards our loved one will keep us connected to them...

His love and strength will guide them home...

March 20, 2023 Our prayer for our loved one today:

Exodus 15:13 NIV [13] In your unfailing love you will lead the people you have redeemed. In your strength you will guide them to your holy dwelling.

Oh Lord, you love reaches to the heavens. It rains down on us to overflowing. Lord, today, in that unfailing love we pray that you will take (our loved one) by the hand lead (our loved one), who you have redeemed. In Your strength, in the way that only You can, guide (our loved one) to you and guide them home. Lord, we know that Your desire is for each one of us to rest in You. Lord, we pray that you would draw us all near to you today and hold us in your mighty hand. In Jesus precious name. Amen

You may feel dismissed and hopeless.

And you may feel like giving up today, giving up on your life, your Loved One, maybe even your God.

But God has not given up on you.

And He has not given up on your Loved One.

The lost, the broken, the outcasts, the incurables...

He has a special, tender place in His heart for all of the least of these.

Hod on. Don't give up on your special one. He never does!

Our Defense is Our Prayers

When our heart is breaking comfort comes when we sit at His feet.

Love comes when we pray for those that are hard to love.

Joy comes when we pray gratitude over our situations even when the challenges seem insurmountable.

We have one certain defense in the battle for the heart of our loved ones. It is our prayers.

March 18, 2023 Our prayer for our loved one today.

Zephaniah 3:17 GNT

[17] The LORD your God is with you; his power gives you victory. The LORD will take delight in you, and in his love he will give you new life. He will sing and be joyful over you,

Lord we thank you today that you are always with us and that you are always with (our loved one). Your word says you will never leave us or forsake us How comforting those words of truth are to us today. Lord, we BELIEVE today that through your great power you will give victory to (our loved one).

We believe that you delight in (our loved one) even more than we do and that Your love will give (him/her) new life! Lord we know that you sing over (our loved one), that you are joyful over (him/her). Lord we pray today that (our loved one) would sense that power and love and experience victory in you today. In Jesus precious name we pray. Amen

We Will Shout for Joy

Mornings are always a time when I reflect on all the good in my life, all the blessings that our gracious God has lavished on us. And it’s always a time for me to pray those blessings over others.

As you pray this prayer for your loved one today, know that I am praying it over you all.

This morning...

May He protect you and strengthen you...

May He grant you the desires of your heart and may all of your plans succeed...

May you walk in victory in His name...

And may all of your prayers be answered...

March 15, 2023 Our prayer for our loved one today:

Psalm 20:1-2,4-5 NLT

[1] In times of trouble, may the LORD answer your cry. May the name of the God of Jacob keep you safe from all harm. [2] May he send you help from his sanctuary and strengthen you from Jerusalem. [4] May he grant your heart's desires and make all your plans succeed. [5] May we shout for joy when we hear of your victory and raise a victory banner in the name of our God. May the LORD answer all your prayers.

Lord, in dark days, in hard times, it’s difficult for us to see light and hope. Lord, we thank you for your words of truth that we can rely on even when we can’t see through the dark. Lord we come to you today heavy and burdened, in this time of trouble and ask that you answer our cry. We pray that when (our loved one) cries out to you, you will hear (his/her) cry. We pray you keep (our loved one) safe from all harm. We ask that you send (him/her) just the right help in the right time and that you strengthen (our loved one) as only you can. We pray that you will grant (our loved one) (his/her) heart’s desires, the passions and dreams that you put inside (him/her) and that you will make all of those plans succeed. Lord, we believe with our whole heart that one day soon we will shout for joy, because of your victory in (our loved one’s) life and we will raise a victory banner in the your precious name. Lord, we agree that one day soon we will share in the joy of these answered prayers that we ask in your son’s holy name. Amen

The Vision Will Not Be Overdue

As we walk through fear and doubt and hopelessness our armor is to keep His promises in front of us.

While we can't see it, he is creating a beautiful tapestry in each of our lives. The finished product won't be revealed until we meet him face to face. But be assured that what may look ugly to us right now, will come together in the end to be something incredible.

I believe with all my heart that God will use all of this pain, all of the knots, all of the insanity for something very beautiful.

March 14, 2023 Our Prayer for Our Loved One Today

Habakkuk 2:3 TLB [3] But these things I plan won't happen right away. Slowly, steadily, surely, the time approaches when the vision will be fulfilled. If it seems slow, do not despair, for these things will surely come to pass. Just be patient! They will not be overdue a single day!

Lord we come before you today worried, fearful, anxious, doubting. What we see around us doesn't always reconcile with your love. So we question. But your word gives us confidence. Your word says that you are working behind the scenes right now in (our loved one's) life. That even though we can't see your work yet, that slowly, steadily and surely the time is approaching when the vision for (our loved one) will be fulfilled. And because of your promises, Lord, we will not despair because we trust that these things will come to past in our life and in (our loved ones) life. Help us to be patient as we walk this difficult journey waiting, trusting, believing that the moment, that moment when (our loved one) says “yes, Lord” will be in your perfect timing and will not be overdue a single moment. Lord we honor your promises and rest in them today. In Jesus precious name we pray. Amen.

Truth & Light

You may be in a place this morning where you are struggling with your faith. Struggling to believe God is who he says he is because you have been wounded, broken by someone you loved.

Or maybe for some reason you feel shamed or condemned.

And I want to whisper in your ear this morning....

That you are loved! You are loved my friend. So much so that God gave His son up for you.

And that dark world you are living in can be completely consumed with the light of His love by simply turning to Him and saying "yes Lord." Yes.

March 13, 2023 Our prayer for our loved one today:

John 3:16-18A,21 NIV [16] For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life[17] For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him[18] Whoever believes in him is not condemned [21] whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.

Heavenly Father....we are in awe of you today! Because You loved [our loved one] so much that You gave your one and only Son, so that when [our loved one] calls to him [he/she] will move from death to life. For God, we know that you did not send your Son into the world to condemn [our loved one], but to save [him/her] through You! Lord, we know that [our loved one] is not condemned and that when [our loved one] choses to live by the truth, the truth will come into the light so that it may be seen plainly by [our loved one] so that what [our loved one] has done has been done in the sight of God. Lord, we praise you and thank you that these things will come to pass in your perfect timing and look forward to eternity with [our loved one]! In Jesus Name we pray! Amen

Wait Patiently for Him

In the middle of the insanity, it's hard to trust...

You feel distant from God....

You are struggling with believing anything good will come from all of this....

And you simply want to do something to make it all better...

When the world tells you to do nothing, God in his wisdom gives us a guide for action. So here is your lists of “do’s” for today:

Trust in Him: He will keep you safe

Delight in Him (I mean radical joy!): He will give you the desires of your heart (He already knows the deep desires).

Commit your way to him (really commit - not just a little bit): You will shine like a star

And the most difficult of all...

Be patient: Watch and see the wild, amazing thing God will do in your life and in your loved one’s life.

Praying today that we can focus on God’s “to do” list for us. He is ready to do miracles!

March 12, 2023 Our Prayer for our loved one today:

Psalm 37:3-6 NIV [3] Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. [4] Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. [5] Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this: [6] He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn…[7] Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him.

Lord, thank you that today you are a big God who can be completely trusted. As we trust in you we pray also that (our loved one) will trust in you and begin to do the right things so that (he/she) can live safely in this land. Lord we pray that (our loved one) will take delight in you and you alone. We know that as (he/she) begins to live for you, you will give (him/her) the desires of (his/her) heart. We pray that (our loved one) would commit (his/her) ways to you and that (he/she) would trust in you and walk in your will. We know that (our loved one’s) goodness will shine when that day comes. We pray for that day to come quickly, but Lord, we know that it will come in your perfect timing. We ask for patience and perseverance in the waiting. We lift up all of this in you son's precious name. Amen.

We Will Be Ready

For so many years, in the middle of all of the pain, it was difficult to picture an outcome that included my loved one being healed.

When our home was in upheaval, It was hard to imagine our home with peace and security.

But that is God’s desire for us and for our loved ones.

His promise is to bring healing into our lives.

And I will tell you that while we pray this over our loved ones He can give that to us LONG before our loved ones ever choose to change their lives. YOU are “His people.” You are the one today that he wants to bring health and healing to.

And one day, in His absolute perfect timing He will bring it to your loved one as well...

And you will be ready.

March 11, 2023 Our prayer for our loved one today:

Jeremiah 33:6 NIV [6] “ 'Nevertheless, I will bring health and healing.... I will heal my people and will let them enjoy abundant peace and security.

Oh Lord, we love you. And we trust you. Even when it hurts so bad, and it's so hard to believe, we trust the promises in your word. Lord, your word says YOU are our Jehovah Rapha, our great healer. And today we pray that healing over (our loved one). We believe that you alone have the power to make us whole. That you will heal (our loved one) and that you will allow (our loved one) to enjoy abundant peace and abundant security. We claim peace over (our loved one), we claim safety over (our loved one) and we claim LIFE over (our loved one). Lord, we thank you that according to your word it's already been done. Today fill us with that same peace and security to trust and not doubt as we surrender (our loved one) and give (him/her) to you today. We pray this in Jesus precious name. Amen!

Dry Bones, Come Alive!

During the height of the craziness in our home we forgot. We forgot a lot of things to be honest. But mostly we forgot about the power God has given us with our words. Romans 4 says that God calls into being things that don’t exist as if they do, that he gives life to the dead. And in Romans 8 it says that WE have that same power in us.

What are we calling into existence today? Do our words build up or tear down?

Is our tongue being used to speak life or speak death over our loved ones?

Are we giving power to the enemy by verbally putting our ugly, destructive fears out there for him to play on?

Today….when we speak, let it be words of life. Let’s call those dry, dead bones to live and breathe once again!

March 10, 2023 Our prayer for our loved one today:

Ezekiel 37:4-6,14 NIV [4] Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, 'Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! [5] This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life[6] I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord. ' ” [14] I will put my Spirit in you and you will live, and I will settle you in your own land. Then you will know that I the Lord have spoken, and I have done it, declares the Lord. ' ”

Abba daddy, we come to you today feeling desperate and powerless. We confess that at times our words and the meditations of our hearts have been a tool of death. We know through our words and through the gift of prayer we have the power of life. Today, we call into being that which doesn’t exist as if it does. Lord, we speak healing and life over [our loved one]. We ask that you would breathe your breath into [our loved one’s] very soul. We pray that the dry, dead bones of a wounded and weary spirit would be healed in your name. We pray that you would put a new and fresh spirit in [him/her]. Fill [him/her] with the oxygen of hope Lord, bring [our loved one] back home, to the life you have claimed to be [our loved one’s]. We eagerly wait in expectation for You to show us the power you have to bring dry, dead bones back to life and we give You all of this honor and glory in your Son’s holy name we pray. Amen
