A sweet young man, facing forever in prison.
A beautiful mama of littles, laying in a hospital bed.
A husband, lost in a world of darkness and pain.
A mother, worried about where her child is sleeping tonight.
A father worried about how he is going to pay rent.
And a spouse on high alert because everything is in chaos for him.
Alone, yet not alone.
Because He is next to them, holding them, carrying them. Even when they don’t know it. Even when they are unaware. He is there. Making paths straight. Humbling the proud. Bringing light to the darkness.
He is there. He is with them in their destruction, their sorrow, their wounding. Whispering in their ear “I am with you. I love you.”
And He is with you today as well. Wrapping you up in His love, as you wait.
We are never alone.
September 13, 2022 Our Prayer for Our Loved One today:
Luke 3:4-6 TPT [4] This was to fulfill what was written in the book of the prophet Isaiah: "Listen! You will hear a thunderous voice in the lonely wilderness telling you to wake up and get your heart ready for the coming of the Lord Jehovah. Every twisted thing in your lives must be made straight. [5-6] Every dark way must be brought to the light. Wrongs righted. Injustices removed. Every heart of pride will be humbled low before him. Every deception will be exposed and replaced by the truth so that everyone everywhere will be ready to see the Life of God!"
Abba Father, we thank you this morning that you are a God who fulfills your promises to us. Lord, your word never leaves us guessing. Thank you that each one of us, in your perfect timing, will hear that thunderous voice declaring your love for us. Lord we pray today that [our loved one], in the middle of the lonely wilderness, will hear you telling [him/her] to wake up, to get [his/her] heart ready for you. Lord, thank you that every twisted idea in [our loved one’s] life will be made straight. Thank you that everything hidden in the dark will be brought into the light. Thank you that [our loved one’s] wrongs will be righted and that any injustices committed by [him/her] or committed against [him/her] will be removed. Thank you that if there is pride or deception it will be exposed and that you will replace it with your truth! Thank you that [our loved one] will see the life God has for [him/her]. Lord we trust that even now you are clearing a path for this to happen! We believe this because you have said it will be. We claim this over [our loved one’s] life today. He'll Make Us Beautiful and Whole
The valley of the shadow…
Difficult times for all of us right now.
Yet, as followers of Christ, we believe that this Earth isn't our final stopping point. And we long for the day when wholeness comes to each one of us.
However these words say that we don't have to wait for that transformation. It can happen right here, right now.
Through His power.
Are we waiting to die to live?
That is not his plan for us. His plan is that he can make us beautiful and whole today.
I have experienced this. Through the brokenness I am not the same person. In the shattering, I have been remade. I have been “put together” as I should be.
And I will not stop praying for this to happen to each of us today.
September 12, 2022 Our prayer for our loved one today:
Philippians 3:20-21 MSG [20-21] But there's far more to life for us. We're citizens of high heaven! We're waiting the arrival of the Savior, the Master, Jesus Christ, who will transform our earthy bodies into glorious bodies like his own. He'll make us beautiful and whole with the same powerful skill by which he is putting everything as it should be.
Abba Father....You are a good God. A God who hears us and who delights in us. A God who longs to give us our hearts cry. Lord today agree in prayer that there is so much more to life for us then our minds can comprehend. And so much more life in store for [our loved one] because you have called [him/her] a citizen of heaven! Lord, through the power of Jesus Christ, we believe that you will transform [our loved one] from the image [he/she] is right now, into your glorious likeness. We believe that you will make [our loved one] beautiful and whole by the powerful skill you posses to align everything as it should be. You are in the business of transformation and we believe that even now this transformation is taking place in each of us who whisper Your name. He Does Wonderful Things
Sometimes we get so caught up in the ugly, that we don't see our loved ones the way God sees them.
But they are precious. They are a gift. They are beautiful in his eyes.
And God sent His own child to be sacrificed so that our loved ones could be saved. So that they can experience abundant life on this Earth and eternally.
Thanking God for that promise today and praying this will be the day our loved ones will whisper "save me."
September 11, 2022 Our prayer for our loved one today:
Isaiah 12:2-5 NLT [2] See, God has come to save me. I will trust in him and not be afraid. The LORD GOD is my strength and my song; he has given me victory." [3] With joy you will drink deeply from the fountain of salvation! [4] In that wonderful day you will sing: "Thank the LORD! Praise his name! Tell the nations what he has done. Let them know how mighty he is! [5] Sing to the LORD, for he has done wonderful things. Make known his praise around the world.
Sweet Heavenly Father, we are so grateful to sit at your feet today and praise you and thank you for ALL the good you give us so graciously and we thank you for the gift of (our loved one). Lord, we believe that Your desire, your very heart is to save (our loved one)! Lord, we know that (he/she)is afraid, that (he/she) is struggling today. We pray that (he/she) would trust You and would not be afraid to surrender (his/her) everything to you today! Lord, You are our strength and our song and in You (our loved one) will have VICTORY!. Here I Am
As we struggle through each day, God is right there, wanting to wrap his arms around us and tell us how much he loves us and that he is fighting for us and our loved ones.
That is the promise.
The promise of breakthrough! The promise of healing! The promise of guidance, of meeting our needs, of strengthening us and of triumph and joy! Oh how we all long for those things in our lives. How we long for those things in our loved one’s life.
So today as you pray this prayer, take heart in this…
When you call...
He will answer;

Lord, we thank you that you are the same God yesterday, today and forever. Lord, we thank you for your Word and that we can trust the promises that are written to us. When we cry for help...
He will answer us.

He will say, “Here is the road, follow it” and guide us back to him.

Isaiah 30:19-21 19 You people who live in Jerusalem will not weep any more. The Lord is compassionate, and when you cry to him for help, he will answer you. 20 The Lord will make you go through hard times, but he himself will be there to teach you, and you will not have to search for him any more. 21 If you wander off the road to the right or the left, you will hear his voice behind you saying, “Here is the road. Follow it.”
Oh Heavenly Father, fill our lungs with your breath today. Help us to fix our eyes on you alone. We trust your word when it says that your people will weep no more. Abba daddy, comfort us. Dry our tears. Because we know that you are a compassionate God and when [our loved one] cries to you for help you will answer [him/her]. We know that you have allowed [our loved one] to go through these hard times so that [he/she] would find the end of [himself/herself] and reach out to you. We trust that you will be with [him/her] to teach [him/her] and that [our loved one] will not have to search for you any more. We ask that as [our loved one] wanders off of the road you desire to have [him/her] on, you would walk with [him/her]. Lord, as a shepherd guides his sheep, we pray that [our loved one] would hear Your voice gently calling to [him/her] "here is the road, follow it" and [he/she] would chose the path of life. He Hears You
He hears you…
He hears the hurting and wounded crying out, desperate to be saved from the darkness that enfolds them.
He hears the cries of our loved one's struggling, dying and literally one whisper away from being saved, yet unable to say the words.
And in these verses we hear the story of redemption. Of a rebellious, stubborn, unfaithful man who was running from God. In his struggle, in the depth of his despair, he finally cried out and said “Lord, save me.” And he was delivered.
When things seem hopeless, when they can’t always cry out on their own behalf, we have one line of defense that is ALWAYS effective...
It is our prayers.
And God hears you. He hears your pain-filed pleas. And when you call He will answer.
September 7, 2022 Our prayer for our loved one today:
Jonah 2:2,6-7,9 NIV
[2] He said: “In my distress I called to the Lord, and he answered me. From deep in the realm of the dead I called for help, and you listened to my cry[6] ...But you, Lord my God, brought my life up from the pit[7] “When my life was ebbing away, I remembered you, Lord, and my prayer rose to you, to your holy temple[9] But I, with shouts of grateful praise, will sacrifice to you. What I have vowed I will make good. I will say, ‘Salvation comes from the Lord.’ ”
Father, we join you today, this moment, interceding on behalf of [our loved one]. Lord, [he/she] is sitting in darkness. [He/she] is in a pit that [he/she] can't see [his/her] way out of. Lord, we pray that in [his/her] distress [our loved one] would cry out to you and you will answer [him/her]. We agree that you alone can bring [his/her] life out of the hole [his/her] is in. As [our loved one's] life is ebbing away I pray that [our loved one] would remember you Lord and that a prayer would rise from [his/her] lips to your Holy temple. I believe that soon shouts of grateful praise will come from [our loved one’s] lips and [he/she] will cry "Salvation comes from the Lord!" Our Hope is in Him
One of the things I love about our home is the trees in our yard. We have two different kinds of very mature trees. One is an ash tree, which has a massive root system and those roots go down deep into the soul and tend to spread out very wide. The other tree that we have is the pine tree. Pine trees don’t have very deep roots, therefore they are more susceptible to being uprooted by the elements. Not long ago we had a tremendous storm with extremely high winds. In the middle of the storm we heard loud cracks and bangs. Sure enough, one of the old pine trees in our back yard toppled over.
But the ash trees…
The trees with the deep roots…
They were unmovable.
Praying today that our loved one would become like that ash tree. That the small, positive seeds of faith would begin to take root. And they would grow and go deep into the soil of their hearts. And that one day nothing, not anything would be able to uproot their lives.
September 6, 2022 Our prayer for our Loved One today:
Jeremiah 17:7-8 TLB [7] But blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord and has made the Lord his hope and confidence[8] He is like a tree planted along a riverbank, with its roots reaching deep into the water-a tree not bothered by the heat nor worried by long months of drought. Its leaves stay green, and it goes right on producing all its luscious fruit.
Father God, thank you for Your word and that we can fully trust it. Thank you that You give us visions and pictures of what will come to be. Lord, today I will picture [our loved one] as You picture [him/her]. Lord we pray with our whole being that [our loved one] will come to trust in You and that [he/she] will find [his/her] hope and confidence in You alone. Lord we pray that [he/she] will become like a tree planted, with [his/her] roots reaching deep in Your truth and Your strength. We pray that [he/she] will become so solid and strong that nothing will succeed in coming against [him/her]. Lord, we believe that you have a calling on [our loved one's] life that you have a special plan and purpose for [him/her]. Lord we trust in that plan today. We wait in humble anticipation for it to come to pass. We pray these things today in Your Son's precious name. Amen

Walking in Faith
Right now...
Right this minute...
God is working behind the scenes to make this happen. We don't know how and we don't know when. But, because of this precious promise we can be assured that there will be a time...His perfect time, when this WILL happen.
When He WILL give them a heart to know Him. And they WILL become His people. And they WILL return to Him with all of their heart.
Today I will choose to walk in faith and joy because I believe this truth.
September 4, 2022 Our prayer for our loved one today:
Jeremiah 24:7 NIV [7] I will give them a heart to know me, that I am the Lord. They will be my people, and I will be their God, for they will return to me with all their heart.
Abba father, we come before you today humble and contrite. Our desires are so simple. Life for us. Life for our loved ones. Lord we pray today that you would give (our loved one) a heart to know You. Lord we pray that (he/she) would acknowledge that You are (his/her) Lord. We pray that (our loved one) would desire a relationship with you and desire for You to be (his/her) God. We thank you for the promise that (our loved one) will return to You with all (his/her) heart. We believe these words of truth and we choose to walk in faith today. Pray As If
One of the journeys God has taken me on through all of the challenges over the years has been to see things like he sees them. To see PEOPLE like he sees them. To see the value in every single person that I meet. To radically accept and love others without judgement. Jesus did that. He hung out with all the outcast of his time.
And the hardest people to do that with our the ones closest to us. The ones that hurt us. The ones who disappoint us.
So how do we do that? How do we see them like Christ sees them?
We pray.
We pray scriptures over them that change our heart towards them. And we thank God for these beautiful ones we call sons and daughters, husbands and wives, moms and dads, sisters and brothers. And we pray exactly what we want to see.
We pray as if.
September 3, 2022 Our prayer for our loved one today:
Psalm 139:13-14,16,24 NIV [13] For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. [14] I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. [16] .....all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. [24]....lead me in the way everlasting.
Lord we come before you this morning with praise and thanksgiving. Because we know God that nothing you do is a mistake. Lord, you created (our loved one's) inmost being; you knit (our loved one) together in my womb. Lord I praise you because (our loved one) is perfectly and wonderfully made! All of your works are wonderful. We believe that and know that full well! Lord, we believe that all of (our loved one) days were ordained for (him/her) and were written in your book long before they will ever come to be. Lord we believe that you have a special plan for (our loved one). Lead (him/her) in the way everlasting today Lord so that your plan can be fulfilled. We ask this with confidence in your perfect will! In Jesus Name we pray! Amen!

The Same Power
Some 2000 years ago the power of God rolled back the stone from the grave and raised Christ from the dead.
The power of the Cross…
And YOU have that same power IN you when you believe.
Do you feel burdened today.....call on that power to bring you peace.
Do you feel sad.....call on that power to bring you joy.
Do you feel alone.....that power (Christ himself) dwells in you...you are never alone.
Do you feel defeated.....call on that power to rebuke the enemy and be victorious.
And do you feel hopeless....remember just 2 days before that amazing Sunday Christ lay dead on the cross. And now he had risen.
With God, all things are possible!
Today, I pray you will all walk in that power, the same power that raised Christ from the dead. And I pray that you will understand that God can turn things around for you in an instant.
The power of the cross....Our HOPE!
September 2, 2022 Our prayer for our loved one today:
Romans 8:9-11 MSG[10-11] It stands to reason, doesn't it, that if the alive-and-present God who raised Jesus from the dead moves into your life, he'll do the same thing in you that he did in Jesus, bringing you alive to himself? When God lives and breathes in you (and he does, as surely as he did in Jesus), you are delivered from that dead life. With his Spirit living in you, your body will be as alive as Christ's!
Father God, we thank you that in You there is hope and life. Lord, it stands to reason...that if You, the alive-and present God who raise your son from the dead moves into (our loved ones) life, that we trust that You will do the same thing for (our loved one) that You did in Jesus...bringing (him/her) alive unto You!!! God, when you live and breathe into (our loved one) as surely as you did in Jesus, we believe (he/she) will be delivered from death to life!! With Your Spirit living in (our loved one) (he/she) will be ALIVE as Christ's! Lord, we wait expectantly for that day to come soon with trust and hope! We pray this in Jesus Holy Name! Amen

Fight the Good Fight
They fight…
They fight to stop.
They fight to feel normal.
They fight to breathe another day…
We fight.
We fight to love them radically
We fight to surrender them to the only one who can truly save them
We fight to live in a place of peace
We fight to not die with them.
And today...
Know that He died for the fight. He died so that we would be filled with the strength and power to continue to fight.
Praying today that we all continue to fight the good fight.

2 Timothy 4:7-8 NIV
[7] I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith[8] Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day---and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.
Abba daddy, we sit at your feet today, pressed in because that is where our strength comes from. We know that You are a good and merciful God. We pray today that [our loved one] would continue, minute by minute, to fight the good fight. We pray that [he/she] would have the strength to walk through the tasks set before [him/her]. Lord, fill [him/her] to overflowing with the faith that only you can give [him/her]. We pray that [our loved one] would grasp the hope that comes with the battle, that this is for [his/her] freedom. But it isn't just freedom for this moment in time, but a freedom that will last for eternity. Father, wrap [our loved one] up in Your love and Your power and Your grace today. The Peace Giver
No doubt these are very troubling times. And you may be feeling overwhelmed today. You may be angry. You may be paralyzed by fear. You may feel hopeless.
He is the peace giver.
And remember, as hard as it is for us, it is so much harder for our loved ones. Yes, they can numb it, but when they wake up day after day in the same situation, they feel sad and restless and afraid and remorseful and fear. And they don't know how to get out of that cycle.
So today's prayer is a prayer of peace for us all.
August 31, 2022 Our prayer for our loved one today:
John 14:27 NLT [27] "I am leaving you with a gift-peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don't be troubled or afraid.
Father God, you are the Prince of Peace. And you came to bring us the perfect peace that can only come from you. Lord, that you for leaving us that gift. Peace of mind and heart. And I pray today that (our loved one) would experience that gift in some small way. Through a touch, a smile, a sense that comes onto (him/her). Lord, I pray that today (he/she) would look for that gift in You and not in anything the world can give (him/her). And lord, I pray that you would take any troubles or fear or anxiety and lift it from (our loved one) today so that (he/she) can be completely filled to overflowing with Your peace!

Enduring Strength
I was taught as a young person to be self-sufficient and to persevere. It was one of my strengths. I was told I was dogmatic and when I set a goal I rarely fell short.
But when addiction hit our family, I soon realized that I could have been Ironman or Wonder Woman and still would not have had the strength on my own to handle the mayhem that was my life.
We soon came to the realization that there was only One that could restore us to sanity.
When we've tried everything we can to do this on our own, and we fail again and again, we come to realize that our strength isn't enough.
When we do, it is then that we are able to surrender and ask
God to fill us with His strength, the glory-strength that only He can give us. So we are then equipped to stick it out for the long-haul.
The kind of strength that can endure the unendurable and spills over into JOY!
Praying this for us.
Praying this for our loved ones today.
August 30, 2022 Our Prayer for our Loved One Today:
Colossians 1:9-12 MSG [9-12] Be assured that from the first day we heard of you, we haven't stopped praying for you, asking God to give you wise minds and spirits attuned to his will... We pray that you'll live well for the Master, making him proud. As you learn more and more how God works, you will learn how to do your work. We pray that you'll have the strength to stick it out over the long haul---not the grim strength of gritting your teeth but the glory-strength God gives. It is strength that endures the unendurable and spills over into joy, thanking the Father who makes us strong enough to take part in everything bright and beautiful that he has for us.
Father God, we intercede today on behalf of all of our loved ones. We cry out today for those who are in the throes of an addictions or oppression, those who are choosing the hard work of recovery and all those who are struggling day to day as they walk through a dark valley. Lord, we will not stop praying for [our loved one]. We ask that You give [our loved one] a wise mind and spirit attuned to Your will. We pray that [our loved one] would choose to live well for You, making You proud. We pray as [our loved one] learns more and more about how You work and about doing Your work through [his/her] transformation, that [he/she] would stick it out for the long-haul with the strength that endures the unendurable and spills over into JOY. Lord we pray [our loved one] will overflow with thanksgiving for You, who makes us strong enough to take part in everything bright and beautiful that You have ready for [him/her] in [his/her] life! Never Give Up Hope
"Because he rescues the poor at the first sign of need, the destitute who have run out of luck. He opens a place in his heart for the down-and-out, he restores the wretched of the earth. ...when they bleed, he bleeds; when they die, he dies.". Psalm 72:12-14 Msg.

He not only sees your loved one, he not only loves them, but He cares so deeply, loves so fully that when they suffer, He suffers with them.
And it says that He WILL restore them.
He's always at work my friends.

Psalm 72:12-14 NIV [12] For he will deliver the needy who cry out, the afflicted who have no one to help. [13] He will take pity on the weak and the needy and save the needy from death. [14] He will rescue them from oppression and violence, for precious is their blood in his sight.
Lord, thank you that you are our Heavenly Father, our Abba Daddy, the One who loves us perfectly and completely. Lord thank you that your heart is for us and you only desire the best for us. Lord, thank you this morning that you promise to take care of (our loved one) who is helpless and poor when (he/she) cries out to you. Lord, right now you are the only one who can defend (him/her). Thank you that you promise in your word to care for the weak and needy and that you will rescue (our loved one). Lord, save (our loved one) from the oppression (he/she) is battling right now, today and save (our loved one) from any violence (he/she) may encounter. Lord, because we KNOW that (our loved one's) life is so precious to You. Lord, thank you that you love (our loved one) more than we do. We sit at your feet today, grateful for your saving power. I Will Go Before You
The fear…
The discouragement…
The feeling that God has abandoned us.
The feeling that God has abandoned our loved one.
The constant battle inside our heads screaming, “where are you God?”
He is with us, my friend.
He is with each one of us.
He goes before us and He will never leave us. Even when we push Him away, even when we forsake Him, He will not forsake us.
Today I pray that the God who is always with each one of us, will reveal Himself clearly to my loved one. So that my loved one will know, beyond doubt, that he is not alone.

Lord, today I confess to you that I am sad, I am discouraged, I am afraid. This life is not the life that I had planned for myself or for (our loved one).
Lord, I know that if I only look at this temporal world, I would lose hope. Yet, the hope for (our loved one) does not come from this world. It comes from the promise of the ultimate sacrifice that you made for us. Lord, I ask today that you will go before (our loved one), that (he/she) will know, without doubt that you are WITH (him/her). I walk in gratitude that you promise to never leave (our loved one) and that you will never, ever forsake (him/her). Lord, today I ask that you fill (our loved one) with courage, with faith and with the perseverance to fight the battle (he/she) is facing, one moment at a time. I pray this in your son’s precious name. Amen

Path of Peace
During extreme difficulty we can stay focused on this...
2000 years ago a child was born.
He came to bring us hope.
He came to bring light into the darkness of our lives.
He came to show us the path of peace.
That's what the Christian walk is about my friends.
No matter what your situation...
No matter your circumstances...
You don't have to sit in the darkness and in the shadow of death.
Let Him wrap you up today in His light and in His perfect peace.
August 27, 2022 Our prayer for our loved on today:
Luke 1:78-79 NLT [78] Because of God's tender mercy, the morning light from heaven is about to break upon us, [79] to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, and to guide us to the path of peace."
Father God, we thank you today that you are a God of tender mercy. You gave us a sunrise today, the morning light. And Lord we believe that your Holy light is about to break on (our loved one). Lord, shine the light on (him/her). (Our loved one) is sitting in the darkness Lord, in the shadows of death. Lord we pray today that Your light would guide (our loved one) on to the path of peace. The peace that goes beyond understanding. The deep peace that can only come from you. We BELIEVE that your son, the light came for every one of us and we trust that it will shine on (our loved one) in your perfect timing. Thank you for your precious promises! We agree with it and stand on it, in your son's precious name. Amen!

He is Ready to do Miracles
In the middle of the insanity, it's hard to trust...
You feel distant from God....
You are struggling with believing anything good will come from all of this....
And you simply want to do something to make it all better...
When the world tells you to do nothing, God in his wisdom gives us a guide for action. So here is your lists of “do’s” for today:
Trust in Him: He will keep you safe
Delight in Him (I mean radical joy!): He will give you the desires of your heart (He already knows the deep desires).
Commit your way to him (really commit - not just a little bit): You will shine like a star
And the most difficult of all...
Be patient: Watch and see the wild, amazing thing God will do in your life and in your loved one’s life.
Praying today that we can focus on God’s “to do” list for us. He is ready to do miracles!
August 26, 2022 Our Prayer for our loved one today:
Psalm 37:3-6 NIV [3] Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. [4] Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. [5] Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this: [6] He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn…[7] Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him.
Lord, thank you that today you are a big God who can be completely trusted. As we trust in you we pray also that (our loved one) will trust in you and begin to do the right things so that (he/she) can live safely in this land. Lord we pray that (our loved one) will take delight in you and you alone. We know that as (he/she) begins to live for you, you will give (him/her) the desires of (his/her) heart. We pray that (our loved one) would commit (his/her) ways to you and that (he/she) would trust in you and walk in your will. We know that (our loved one’s) goodness will shine when that day comes. We pray for that day to come quickly, but Lord, we know that it will come in your perfect timing. We ask for patience and perseverance in the waiting. We lift up all of this in you son's precious name. Amen.

He Blesses You With Peace
Day in and day out, it can become harder to find peace.
Fear of relapse.
Sadness from loss.
Disappointment from unmet expectations.
Extreme busyness (sometimes to numb the pain).
So today, I claim these verses over my life. I claim these verses over my loved one’s life.
And I pray this over each of you who are struggling today.
May you be filled today with the gift of supernatural strength and peace that only He can give us
August 25, 2022 Our Prayer for our Loved One today:
Psalm 29:11 NIV[11] The Lord gives strength to his people; the Lord blesses his people with peace.
Abba daddy, we come to You this morning weak, tired and full of anxiety and turmoil because we know that our loved ones are wounded, lost and exhausted. Lord, we know that You are the only source of true healing, true freedom. Father God, we ask today that you would give strength to (our loved one) today, because we know that (our loved one) is Your precious child. We pray that You, in all of your love and mercy, pour out a special blessing of peace over (our loved one) as (he/she) struggles through this day. You are the author and giver of life. Lord, we pray today that (our loved one) would choose life. We believe, in faith, that your promise will come to be and we step in to your perfect peace for us today as well. We pray this in Your son’s precious name. Amen

Love Poured Out
One day, in the middle of all of the craziness, we were sitting across from a pastor asking for counsel. He gave us some pretty profound advice that changed the course of our journey. And as we finished the conversation he looked at us and said, “Just remember....LOVE NEVER FAILS.”
I know that I can’t love the way I need to, unless I fully understand how much my Heavenly Father loves me. So today, I pray that you will be absolutely filled to overflowing with the anointing love of our amazing God. So much so, that it overflows and spills out on everyone around you.
And I pray that love will drive everything you do, as you come alongside your precious loved one that is suffering. Because that love will lead them home.
August 23, 2022 Our prayer for our loved one today:
1 Thessalonians 3:11-13 MSG [11-13] May God our Father himself and our Master Jesus clear the road to you! And may the Master pour on the love so it fills your lives and splashes over on everyone around you, just as it does from us to you. May you be infused with strength and purity, filled with confidence in the presence of God our Father when our Master Jesus arrives with all his followers.
Lord God, we come before you today with the desire to fully experience Your love in our lives. We know that perfect love cast out all fear and that love never fails. Lord our motive for our prayers is love. Love for You and love for [our loved one]. Lord we pray today that You would intervene on our behalf and clear a road for [our loved one] straight to you! Lord we pray that You would pour out Your love so fully that it fills [our loved one's] life and splashes over on everyone around [our loved one], just as it has done from You to us! Lord we pray today that you would infuse [our loved one] with strength and purity. That you would fill [our loved one] with confidence in Your presence Lord. And that one day, when Your son appears You will say to us and to [our loved one] well done good and faithful servant. We ask this in Your Son's precious name. Amen.

I Will Go Before You
I will go before you my child....and make sure you have a place to sleep tonight.
I will go before you my child....and provide an angel to give you the hug that you so badly need.
I will go before you my child...and give you the food you need for lunch today.
I will go before you my child...and protect you from that person that meant to harm you.
I will go before you my child...and open the door for you to get the help you need.
I will go before you my sweet child and clear a path so wide that you will know that I am the Lord your God, the One who calls you by name.
August 22, 2022 Our prayer for our loved one today:
Isaiah 45:2-3 NLT [2] This is what the LORD says: "I will go before you, "my child", and level the mountains. I will smash down gates of bronze and cut through bars of iron[3] And I will give you treasures hidden in the darkness- secret riches. I will do this so you may know that I am the LORD, the God of Israel, the one who calls you by name.
Lord, we come before you today facing mountains. There is a wilderness in front of us and we see no way out. So we look to your word and your promises to give us strength and encouragement. And you are the God who can make a way through that wilderness. Lord, we believe that you are going before [our loved one] and that you are leveling mountains for [him/her]. Lord, you are smashing down gates of bronze and cutting through bars of iron, to make a path for [our loved one]. Lord, we know that you have amazing treasure in store for [our loved one]. Lord, we believe this will be so miraculous that there will be no denying you Lord, that [our loved one] will KNOW that you are the Lord, who calls [our loved one] by name. Lord, we trust your promises and believe this today. In your son's precious name we pray! Amen
