Freedom.
Freedom is a funny thing...
You see, we can be "free." Able to move about, able to experience the liberties our country protects. Able to think and do what we choose. And we can be completely lost and in bondage!
And we can be a prisoner in chains, in the dirtiest filthiest jails and prisons, living in the worse conditions AND WE CAN BE FREE, truly free.
You see freedom is a condition of the spirit and soul NOT our external circumstances.
And the only way to be truly free is to surrender. To lay all of our rights and our expectations, our fears and our failures, our hurts and our anger.... To lay them all at the foot of the Cross.
Then you will truly be FREE!
April 24, 2022 Our prayer for our loved one today:
Galatians 5:1 NIV
[1] It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.
Thank you Lord! Thank you that you love us beyond measure! Thank you that you had a perfect plan for each one of us to live freely when you sent your son. He was broken so we could be healed. Lord He came to set me free and He came to set (our loved one) free! Lord, my prayer today is that (our loved one) would embrace that freedom. I pray (he/she) would stand firm today and allow you to remove, once and for all, the yoke of slavery from (his/her) shoulders, never again to bear that burden. Lord, we praise you today for your power to break every chain! We pray this in Jesus precious name! Amen

Heal Us
I believe our simplest prayers, whispered from the depths of our souls are the ones God treasures the most.
The ones that come from those desperate places...
The ones that are so painful we can only groan them...
Lord...heal us.
Lord...rescue us.
Lord...save us.

[14] LORD, heal me and I will be completely well; rescue me and I will be perfectly safe. You are the one I praise!
Lord, we come before you today knowing that you have the power to heal any sickness, rescue us from our brokenness and break any stronghold. Lord our prayer is simple today...heal (our loved one) so (he/she) can be completely well. Rescue (our loved one) so (he/she) will be perfectly safe. And Lord may the praise of your name one day be on (our loved one's) lips. Lord trust in your perfect plan and believe you will work all things together in your perfect timing. We pray this in your Son's precious name. Amen.

He Makes Things Right
A sweet young man, facing forever in prison.
A beautiful mama of littles, laying in a hospital bed.
A husband, lost in a world of darkness and pain.
A mother, worried about where her child is sleeping tonight.
A father worried about how he is going to pay rent.
And a spouse on high alert because everything is in chaos for him.
Alone, yet not alone.
Because He is next to them, holding them, carrying them. Even when they don’t know it. Even when they are unaware. He is there. Making paths straight. Humbling the proud. Bringing light to the darkness.
He is there. He is with them in their destruction, their sorrow, their wounding. Whispering in their ear “I am with you. I love you.”
And He is with you today as well. Wrapping you up in His love, as you wait.
We are never alone.
April 22, 2022 Our Prayer for Our Loved One today:
Luke 3:4-6 TPT [4] This was to fulfill what was written in the book of the prophet Isaiah: "Listen! You will hear a thunderous voice in the lonely wilderness telling you to wake up and get your heart ready for the coming of the Lord Jehovah. Every twisted thing in your lives must be made straight. [5-6] Every dark way must be brought to the light. Wrongs righted. Injustices removed. Every heart of pride will be humbled low before him. Every deception will be exposed and replaced by the truth so that everyone everywhere will be ready to see the Life of God!"
Abba Father, we thank you this morning that you are a God who fulfills your promises to us. Lord, your word never leaves us guessing. Thank you that each one of us, in your perfect timing, will hear that thunderous voice declaring your love for us. Lord we pray today that [our loved one], in the middle of the lonely wilderness, will hear you telling [him/her] to wake up, to get [his/her] heart ready for you. Lord, thank you that every twisted idea in [our loved one’s] life will be made straight. Thank you that everything hidden in the dark will be brought into the light. Thank you that [our loved one’s] wrongs will be righted and that any injustices committed by [him/her] or committed against [him/her] will be removed. Thank you that if there is pride or deception it will be exposed and that you will replace it with your truth! Thank you that [our loved one] will see the life God has for [him/her]. Lord we trust that even now you are clearing a path for this to happen! We believe this because you have said it will be. We claim this over [our loved one’s] life today. He Transforms Us!
The valley of the shadow…
Difficult times for all of us right now.
Yet, as followers of Christ, we believe that this Earth isn't our final stopping point. And we long for the day when wholeness comes to each one of us.
However these words say that we don't have to wait for that transformation. It can happen right here, right now.
Through His power.
Are we waiting to die to live?
That is not his plan for us. His plan is that he can make us beautiful and whole today.
I have experienced this. Through the brokenness I am not the same person. In the shattering, I have been remade. I have been “put together” as I should be.
And I will not stop praying for this to happen to each of us today.
April 21, 2022 Our prayer for our loved one today:
Philippians 3:20-21 MSG [20-21] But there's far more to life for us. We're citizens of high heaven! We're waiting the arrival of the Savior, the Master, Jesus Christ, who will transform our earthy bodies into glorious bodies like his own. He'll make us beautiful and whole with the same powerful skill by which he is putting everything as it should be.
Abba Father....You are a good God. A God who hears us and who delights in us. A God who longs to give us our hearts cry. Lord today agree in prayer that there is so much more to life for us then our minds can comprehend. And so much more life in store for [our loved one] because you have called [him/her] a citizen of heaven! Lord, through the power of Jesus Christ, we believe that you will transform [our loved one] from the image [he/she] is right now, into your glorious likeness. We believe that you will make [our loved one] beautiful and whole by the powerful skill you posses to align everything as it should be. You are in the business of transformation and we believe that even now this transformation is taking place in each of us who whisper Your name. We call this into being through prayer in Your son's precious name. Amen!

He is My Strength and My Song
Sometimes we get so caught up in the ugly, that we don't see our loved ones the way God sees them.
But they are precious. They are a gift. They are beautiful in his eyes.
And God sent His own child to be sacrificed so that our loved ones could be saved. So that they can experience abundant life on this Earth and eternally.
Thanking God for that promise today and praying this will be the day our loved ones will whisper "save me."
April 20, 2022 Our prayer for our loved one today:
Isaiah 12:2-5 NLT [2] See, God has come to save me. I will trust in him and not be afraid. The LORD GOD is my strength and my song; he has given me victory." [3] With joy you will drink deeply from the fountain of salvation! [4] In that wonderful day you will sing: "Thank the LORD! Praise his name! Tell the nations what he has done. Let them know how mighty he is! [5] Sing to the LORD, for he has done wonderful things. Make known his praise around the world.
Sweet Heavenly Father, we are so grateful to sit at your feet today and praise you and thank you for ALL the good you give us so graciously and we thank you for the gift of (our loved one). Lord, we believe that Your desire, your very heart is to save (our loved one)! Lord, we know that (he/she)is afraid, that (he/she) is struggling today. We pray that (he/she) would trust You and would not be afraid to surrender (his/her) everything to you today! Lord, You are our strength and our song and in You (our loved one) will have VICTORY!. Lord, may (our loved one) drink deeply from the fountain of your saving power! We believe and trust that in that wonderful day (our loved one) will sing "Thank you Lord!" Here I Am
As we struggle through each day, God is right there, wanting to wrap his arms around us and tell us how much he loves us and that he is fighting for us and our loved ones.
That is the promise.
The promise of breakthrough! The promise of healing! The promise of guidance, of meeting our needs, of strengthening us and of triumph and joy! Oh how we all long for those things in our lives. How we long for those things in our loved one’s life.
So today as you pray this prayer, take heart in this…
When you call...
He will answer;
When you cry for help...
He will say: Here am I.

Isaiah 58:8-9,11,14 NIV [8] Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the Lord will be your rear guard[9] Then you will call, and the Lord will answer; you will cry for help, and he will say: Here am I[11] The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs and will strengthen your frame....14] then you will find your joy in the Lord, and I will cause you to ride in triumph!
Lord, we thank you that you are the same God yesterday, today and forever. Lord, we thank you for your Word and that we can trust the promises that are written to us. Lord, we believe that one day soon, You will reveal yourself to [our loved one] and on that day [our loved one's] light will break forth like the dawn and [his/her] healing will quickly appear! There is Hope!
When we cry for help...
He will answer us.
When we go through hard times...

When we wander and are lost...
He will say, “Here is the road, follow it” and guide us back to him.
THAT IS HOPE.
April 22, 2021 Our prayer for our loved one today:
Isaiah 30:19-21 19 You people who live in Jerusalem will not weep any more. The Lord is compassionate, and when you cry to him for help, he will answer you. 20 The Lord will make you go through hard times, but he himself will be there to teach you, and you will not have to search for him any more. 21 If you wander off the road to the right or the left, you will hear his voice behind you saying, “Here is the road. Follow it.”
Oh Heavenly Father, fill our lungs with your breath today. Help us to fix our eyes on you alone. We trust your word when it says that your people will weep no more. Abba daddy, comfort us. Dry our tears. Because we know that you are a compassionate God and when [our loved one] cries to you for help you will answer [him/her]. We know that you have allowed [our loved one] to go through these hard times so that [he/she] would find the end of [himself/herself] and reach out to you. We trust that you will be with [him/her] to teach [him/her] and that [our loved one] will not have to search for you any more. We ask that as [our loved one] wanders off of the road you desire to have [him/her] on, you would walk with [him/her]. Lord, as a shepherd guides his sheep, we pray that [our loved one] would hear Your voice gently calling to [him/her] "here is the road, follow it" and [he/she] would chose the path of life. He Has Risen!
HE WAS RISEN!!! The stone was rolled back. The tomb was empty.
The power of God rolled back that stone and raised Christ from the dead.
And YOU have that same power IN you when you believe.
Do you feel burdened today.....call on that power to bring you peace.
Do you feel sad.....call on that power to bring you joy.
Do you feel alone.....that power (Christ himself) dwells in you...you are never alone.
Do you feel defeated.....call on that power to rebuke the enemy and be victorious.
And do you feel hopeless....remember just 2 days before that amazing Sunday Christ lay dead on the cross. And now he had risen.
With God, all things are possible!
Today, I pray you will all walk in that power, the same power that raised Christ from the dead. And I pray that you will understand that God can turn things around for you in an instant.
The power of the cross....

April 17, 2022 Our prayer for our loved one today:
Romans 8:9-11 MSG
[10-11] It stands to reason, doesn't it, that if the alive-and-present God who raised Jesus from the dead moves into your life, he'll do the same thing in you that he did in Jesus, bringing you alive to himself? When God lives and breathes in you (and he does, as surely as he did in Jesus), you are delivered from that dead life. With his Spirit living in you, your body will be as alive as Christs!
Father God, we thank you that in You there is hope and life. Lord, it stands to reason...that if You, the alive-and present God who raise your son from the dead moves into (our loved ones) life, that we trust that You will do the same thing for (our loved one) that You did in Jesus...bringing (him/her) alive unto You!!! God, when you live and breathe into (our loved one) as surely as you did in Jesus, we believe (he/she) will be delivered from death to life!! With Your Spirit living in (our loved one) (he/she) will be ALIVE as Christ's! Lord, we wait expectantly for that day to come soon with trust and hope! We pray this in Jesus Holy Name! Amen

The Darkest Valley
That day. The day after the darkest day in history. A day of great grief. A day of loss. A day of confusion. She believed that what He had promised was true, yet now her son was gone.
She was crushed. Devastated. Full of angst and disappointment. Full of sorrow. She was told by God her son was going to be the King of Kings. And he had just been crucified on an old wooden cross.
You may be experiencing many of the same emotions today as Mary did on that day.
WHERE ARE YOU GOD????? THIS IS NOT WHAT I HAD PLANNED??? I THOUGHT YOU WERE GOOD??? YOU LET MY SON DIE!!!!!
But like us on this day, she couldn't see what was going to happen the NEXT day. She couldn't begin to comprehend, to wrap her brain around what God was going to do in just 24 short hours.
God IS here my friends. He is with you in this dark valley that you walk through . He is with your loved one as they are walking through the darkest of valleys.
And the HOPE. The HOPE that we have is in what happened the next day. The hope is in the promises, the assurance that we KNOW He never leaves our side.
April 16, 2022 Our prayer for our loved one today:
Psalm 23:1-6 NIV [1] The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. [2] He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, [3] he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. [4] Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. [5] You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. [6] Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
Thank you Lord that you are (our loved one’s) shepherd and in You (he/she) will have everything (he/she) needs for an abundant life. Lord, as I pray that (our loved one) will rest in You today I ask that you quiet (our loved one’s) spirit and refresh and restore (our loved one’s) soul. Lord, I feel today that (our loved one’s) walking through the darkest of valley's, Lord but THANK YOU that you are always with (him/her) and that because of that, I have nothing to fear. Lord, we ask that your rod would protect (our loved one) today. Lord with your staff, draw me and (our loved one) near to you. Lord comfort (our loved one) as only you can. You provide for (him/her) a table, a feast even before (his/her) enemies, to the point where (his/her) cup will overflow with abundance! Lord, thank you that your goodness and your mercies will follow (our loved one) all of the days of (our loved one’s) life and for the amazing promise that I will dwell with you in your house forever, eternally. Lord, I thank you and praise you for all of these things today. In Jesus Name! Amen.

It Is Finished!
And on that day…
He took his last…
And said “It is finished.”
We don’t have to do the work of saving.
He did it for us.
On that dark day, He put our burdens on His shoulders once and for all.
Today, on this Good Friday.
Find peace in knowing that you can rest in that victory.

John 19:30 30 When Jesus had tasted it, he said, “It is finished!” Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.
Father God, we humbly come before you today, thankful for what this day means. That what you did on the cross was complete. It was finished. And Lord, I thank you that you did that for me and that you did that for (our loved one). I thank you that you have given me the assurance that with your death, comes life. Lord today I pray that (our loved one) would receive the gift of the love that you have for (him/her). The love that came with the ultimate sacrifice. Thank you that it is finished. Salvation Comes From the Lord
He hears you…
He hears the hurting and wounded crying out, desperate to be saved from the darkness that enfolds them.
He hears the cries of our loved one's struggling, dying and literally one whisper away from being saved, yet unable to say the words.
And in these verses we hear the story of redemption. Of a rebellious, stubborn, unfaithful man who was running from God. In his struggle, in the depth of his despair, he finally cried out and said “Lord, save me.” And he was delivered.
When things seem hopeless, when they can’t always cry out on their own behalf, we have one line of defense that is ALWAYS effective...
It is our prayers.
And God hears you. He hears your pain-filed pleas. And when you call He will answer.
April 14, 2022 Our prayer for our loved one today:
Jonah 2:2,6-7,9 NIV
[2] He said: “In my distress I called to the Lord, and he answered me. From deep in the realm of the dead I called for help, and you listened to my cry[6] ...But you, Lord my God, brought my life up from the pit[7] “When my life was ebbing away, I remembered you, Lord, and my prayer rose to you, to your holy temple[9] But I, with shouts of grateful praise, will sacrifice to you. What I have vowed I will make good. I will say, ‘Salvation comes from the Lord.’ ”
Father, we join you today, this moment, interceding on behalf of [our loved one]. Lord, [he/she] is sitting in darkness. [He/she] is in a pit that [he/she] can't see [his/her] way out of. Lord, we pray that in [his/her] distress [our loved one] would cry out to you and you will answer [him/her]. We agree that you alone can bring [his/her] life out of the hole [his/her] is in. As [our loved one's] life is ebbing away I pray that [our loved one] would remember you Lord and that a prayer would rise from [his/her] lips to your Holy temple. I believe that soon shouts of grateful praise will come from [our loved one’s] lips and [he/she] will cry "Salvation comes from the Lord!" Lord, I trust your word to be truth and I wait in excited anticipation for these things to come to pass. We pray this in Jesus name today! Amen

Light Has Dawned
No doubt yesterday was difficult for you.
It may have felt as if you were completely alone.
Or maybe you were surrounded by people yet there was chaos and strife.
But as you were there….
So was God in the middle of it all.
And even though it may have felt hard and dark…
Where there is God, there is light.
And light ALWAYS shines through the darkness.
Praying today that His light would lead them home.

Lord, you call into being things that never existed as if they did. Lord, we thank you that You can turn our children's hearts to you with a whisper. Lord, we pray today for (our loved one). Lord we believe that today, even though (our loved one) is walking in darkness (he/she) will see YOUR great light. Thank you that your light will dawn and shine down on those living in deep darkness. Pray As If
One of the journeys God has taken me on through all of the challenges over the years has been to see things like he sees them. To see PEOPLE like he sees them. To see the value in every single person that I meet. To radically accept and love others without judgement. Jesus did that. He hung out with all the outcast of his time.
And the hardest people to do that with our the ones closest to us. The ones that hurt us. The ones who disappoint us.
So how do we do that? How do we see them like Christ sees them?
We pray.
We pray scriptures over them that change our heart towards them. And we thank God for these beautiful ones we call sons and daughters, husbands and wives, moms and dads, sisters and brothers. And we pray exactly what we want to see.
We pray as if.
April 12, 2022 Our prayer for our loved one today:
Psalm 139:13-14,16,24 NIV [13] For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. [14] I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. [16] .....all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. [24]....lead me in the way everlasting.
Lord we come before you this morning with praise and thanksgiving. Because we know God that nothing you do is a mistake. Lord, you created (our loved one's) inmost being; you knit (our loved one) together in my womb. Lord I praise you because (our loved one) is perfectly and wonderfully made! All of your works are wonderful. We believe that and know that full well! Lord, we believe that all of (our loved one) days were ordained for (him/her) and were written in your book long before they will ever come to be. Lord we believe that you have a special plan for (our loved one). Lead (him/her) in the way everlasting today Lord so that your plan can be fulfilled. We ask this with confidence in your perfect will! In Jesus Name we pray! Amen!

Walk in Faith
Right now...
Right this minute...
God is working behind the scenes to make this happen. We don't know how and we don't know when. But, because of this precious promise we can be assured that there will be a time...His perfect time, when this WILL happen.
When He WILL give them a heart to know Him. And they WILL become His people. And they WILL return to Him with all of their heart.
Today I will choose to walk in faith and joy because I believe this truth.
April 12, 2022 Our prayer for our loved one today:
Jeremiah 24:7 NIV [7] I will give them a heart to know me, that I am the Lord. They will be my people, and I will be their God, for they will return to me with all their heart.
Abba father, we come before you today humble and contrite. Our desires are so simple. Life for us. Life for our loved ones. Lord we pray today that you would give (our loved one) a heart to know You. Lord we pray that (he/she) would acknowledge that You are (his/her) Lord. We pray that (our loved one) would desire a relationship with you and desire for You to be (his/her) God. We thank you for the promise that (our loved one) will return to You with all (his/her) heart. We believe these words of truth and we choose to walk in faith today. Fight the Good Fight
hey fight…
They fight to stop.
They fight to feel normal.
They fight to breathe another day…
We fight.
We fight to love them radically
We fight to surrender them to the only one who can truly save them
We fight to live in a place of peace
We fight to not die with them.
And today...
Know that He died for the fight. He died so that we would be filled with the strength and power to continue to fight.
Praying today that we all continue to fight the good fight.
April 11, 2022 Our prayer for our loved one today:
2 Timothy 4:7-8 NIV
[7] I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith[8] Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day---and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.
Abba daddy, we sit at your feet today, pressed in because that is where our strength comes from. We know that You are a good and merciful God. We pray today that [our loved one] would continue, minute by minute, to fight the good fight. We pray that [he/she] would have the strength to walk through the tasks set before [him/her]. Lord, fill [him/her] to overflowing with the faith that only you can give [him/her]. We pray that [our loved one] would grasp the hope that comes with the battle, that this is for [his/her] freedom. But it isn't just freedom for this moment in time, but a freedom that will last for eternity. Father, wrap [our loved one] up in Your love and Your power and Your grace today. Peace I Give
No doubt these are very troubling times. And you may be feeling overwhelmed today. You may be angry. You may be paralyzed by fear. You may feel hopeless.
He is the peace giver.
And remember, as hard as it is for us, it is so much harder for our loved ones. Yes, they can numb it, but when they wake up day after day in the same situation, they feel sad and restless and afraid and remorseful and fear. And they don't know how to get out of that cycle.
So today's prayer is a prayer of peace for us all.
April 10, 2022. Our prayer for our loved one today:
John 14:27 NLT [27] "I am leaving you with a gift-peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don't be troubled or afraid.
Father God, you are the Prince of Peace. And you came to bring us the perfect peace that can only come from you. Lord, that you for leaving us that gift. Peace of mind and heart. And I pray today that (our loved one) would experience that gift in some small way. Through a touch, a smile, a sense that comes onto (him/her). Lord, I pray that today (he/she) would look for that gift in You and not in anything the world can give (him/her). And lord, I pray that you would take any troubles or fear or anxiety and lift it from (our loved one) today so that (he/she) can be completely filled to overflowing with Your peace!

He Makes Us Strong
I was taught as a young person to be self-sufficient and to persevere. It was one of my strengths. I was told I was dogmatic and when I set a goal I rarely fell short.
But when addiction hit our family, I soon realized that I could have been Ironman or Wonder Woman and still would not have had the strength on my own to handle the mayhem that was my life.
We soon came to the realization that there was only One that could restore us to sanity.
When we've tried everything we can to do this on our own, and we fail again and again, we come to realize that our strength isn't enough.
When we do, it is then that we are able to surrender and ask
God to fill us with His strength, the glory-strength that only He can give us. So we are then equipped to stick it out for the long-haul.
The kind of strength that can endure the unendurable and spills over into JOY!
Praying this for us.

April 9, 2022 Our Prayer for our Loved One Today:
Colossians 1:9-12 MSG [9-12] Be assured that from the first day we heard of you, we haven't stopped praying for you, asking God to give you wise minds and spirits attuned to his will... We pray that you'll live well for the Master, making him proud. As you learn more and more how God works, you will learn how to do your work. We pray that you'll have the strength to stick it out over the long haul---not the grim strength of gritting your teeth but the glory-strength God gives. It is strength that endures the unendurable and spills over into joy, thanking the Father who makes us strong enough to take part in everything bright and beautiful that he has for us.
Father God, we intercede today on behalf of all of our loved ones. We cry out today for those who are in the throes of an addictions or oppression, those who are choosing the hard work of recovery and all those who are struggling day to day as they walk through a dark valley. Lord, we will not stop praying for [our loved one]. We ask that You give [our loved one] a wise mind and spirit attuned to Your will. We pray that [our loved one] would choose to live well for You, making You proud. We pray as [our loved one] learns more and more about how You work and about doing Your work through [his/her] transformation, that [he/she] would stick it out for the long-haul with the strength that endures the unendurable and spills over into JOY. Lord we pray [our loved one] will overflow with thanksgiving for You, who makes us strong enough to take part in everything bright and beautiful that You have ready for [him/her] in [his/her] life! We believe that [our loved one] has an amazing future in You, Lord. We believe this will happen for [our loved one] and look forward to that day. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen!

Never Give Up Hope
"Because he rescues the poor at the first sign of need, the destitute who have run out of luck. He opens a place in his heart for the down-and-out, he restores the wretched of the earth. ...when they bleed, he bleeds; when they die, he dies.". Psalm 72:12-14 Msg.
He opens his heart to the down and out
He restores the wretched
When they bleed, he bleeds.
When they bleed, he bleeds.
He not only sees your loved one, he not only loves them, but He cares so deeply, loves so fully that when they suffer, He suffers with them.
And it says that He WILL restore them.
He's always at work my friends.
Never ever give up hope.
April 8, 2022 Our prayer for our loved one today:
Psalm 72:12-14 NIV [12] For he will deliver the needy who cry out, the afflicted who have no one to help. [13] He will take pity on the weak and the needy and save the needy from death. [14] He will rescue them from oppression and violence, for precious is their blood in his sight.
Lord, thank you that you are our Heavenly Father, our Abba Daddy, the One who loves us perfectly and completely. Lord thank you that your heart is for us and you only desire the best for us. Lord, thank you this morning that you promise to take care of (our loved one) who is helpless and poor when (he/she) cries out to you. Lord, right now you are the only one who can defend (him/her). Thank you that you promise in your word to care for the weak and needy and that you will rescue (our loved one). Lord, save (our loved one) from the oppression (he/she) is battling right now, today and save (our loved one) from any violence (he/she) may encounter. Lord, because we KNOW that (our loved one's) life is so precious to You. Lord, thank you that you love (our loved one) more than we do. We sit at your feet today, grateful for your saving power. We pray this in Jesus precious name...Amen!

I Am Doing Something New
A new day.
A new perspective.
A fresh start.
God is always doing something new my friends. He will make a way in the wilderness.
That is the hope that I walk in today.
April 7, 22022 Our prayer for our loved one today:
Isaiah 43:18-20 NLT
[18] "But forget all that- it is nothing compared to what I am going to do[19] For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland[20] Yes, I will make rivers in the dry wasteland so my chosen people can be refreshed.
Father God, we come before you today trusting. Trusting that your promises are real and true. When we can't hold on to anything else, we hold on to that. We know that nothing can compare to what you are going to do in [our loved one's] life! We believe that you are about to do something new, something amazing in [our loved one]. Yes Lord! It has already begun. Lord, we believe that you will make a pathway through the wilderness so that [our loved one] can find you. And you will create rivers in the dry wasteland of [his/her] life so that [our loved one] will be refreshed and made new in you. We believe that you are at work right now to restore our lives and our families to the abundant promised land you have waiting for all of us. Lord, we are thankful. We pray this promise and agree with it in your Son's precious name. Amen

You are NOT Forsaken
The fear…
The discouragement…
The feeling that God has abandoned us.
The feeling that God has abandoned our loved one.
The constant battle inside our heads screaming, “where are you God?”
He is with us, my friend.
He is with each one of us.
He goes before us and He will never leave us. Even when we push Him away, even when we forsake Him, He will not forsake us.
Today I pray that the God who is always with each one of us, will reveal Himself clearly to my loved one. So that my loved one will know, beyond doubt, that he is not alone.
April 6, 2022 Our prayer for Our Loved One today:
Deuteronomy 31:8 NIV
[8] The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”
Lord, today I confess to you that I am sad, I am discouraged, I am afraid. This life is not the life that I had planned for myself or for (our loved one).
Lord, I know that if I only look at this temporal world, I would lose hope. Yet, the hope for (our loved one) does not come from this world. It comes from the promise of the ultimate sacrifice that you made for us. Lord, I ask today that you will go before (our loved one), that (he/she) will know, without doubt that you are WITH (him/her). I walk in gratitude that you promise to never leave (our loved one) and that you will never, ever forsake (him/her). Lord, today I ask that you fill (our loved one) with courage, with faith and with the perseverance to fight the battle (he/she) is facing, one moment at a time. I pray this in your son’s precious name. Amen
