This morning you may feel lost and alone. Like you are walking through unknown territory. Like you are in a dark maze and keep running into walls at every turn.
I know that feeling so well.
But God says "I'll take the hand of those who don't know the way, who can't see where they're going. I'll be their personal guide!"
Our God loves you so much that He will personally guide when you don't know which way to turn. He'll keep you from going off the path and falling into the ditch.
Just reach out and take his hand. Trust Him. We don’t have to know the way, because
He will show us the way.
And I'm praying today that one day soon, our loved ones will look up and reach out and take His hand and let Him lead them out of the lies and confusion of their life.
October 2, 2026 Our Prayer For Our Loved One Today
Isaiah 42:16 Msg. But I'll take the hand of those who don't know the way, who can't see where they're going. I'll be a personal guide to them, directing them through unknown country. I'll be right there to show them what roads to take, make sure they don't fall into the ditch. These are the things I'll be doing for them— sticking with them, not leaving them for a minute."
Abba daddy, I need you today. I am walking through unknown territory and I am lost. I am scared. I feel alone. But Lord, I know that with you I am never alone. I know that you are right there to grab my hand when I don't know the way. And Lord, I am confident that when my grip gets weak, you, in your love, hold on tighter. Lord, help me today to trust you. And Lord, I thank you that you are always beside (our loved one). Lord, (our loved one) is in unknown territory and you promise that you will be right there with (him/her). Lord, show (him/her) the road that (he/she) needs to take. Lord, guide (him/her). Protect (him/her) so that (he/she) doesn't fall into the ditch. Lord, I know that you are with (our loved one). Thank you for your promise that you will stick with (our loved one) and that you won't leave (him/her). And Lord, I pray today that you will guide (our loved one) home. In You I Take Refuge
Recently I got a phone call. You know the kind. One of those SOS calls. And my natural instinct was to want to get my hands in the mix and "fix" things. My will be done, right?
And then I realized that I had taken my eyes off of the one who truly can fix this situation. Fear, worry, the need to take control, the need to fix, the depression that can come when things don't go our way...
These are ALL things that occur when we forget who is really God.
He is...
And I am not.
He is the lighthouse that guides us. He is the refuge in the storm. He is where I draw my strength and comfort from. And today I'll pray that my loved one will be led back to the light.
October 1, 2026 Our Prayer for Our Loved One Today:
Psalm 141:8 NIV [8] But my eyes are fixed on you, Sovereign Lord; in you I take refuge....
Oh Abba Father, we come to you today weak, tired and lost. Not able to see what's in front of us because of the storms that are raging around us. Lord, we know that the only way through the storm is to keep our eyes fixed on you, to not lose sight of the light that is always there to guide us. And Lord, today we humbly ask that (our loved one) would make that decision, that decision to fix (his/her) eyes on you. Lord we ask that You, in your sovereignty would guide (our loved one) back to a place of safety and refuge in You alone. Lord, protect (him/her), keep (him/her) safe through in the darkness and bring (him/her) back to calm waters. We know this is Your desire and we believe that it will happen. We ask this in Your Son's precious name. Amen!

Free Indeed!
Freedom isn't a state of our physical circumstances, it's a condition of our heart and our spirit. We can be physically free, but in total bondage. And we can be in physical chains and experience total freedom.
Today I pray that we all step into the freedom that is ours when we fully rely on and trust the One who is truly in control.
When we surrender....we become free.
September 20, 2026 Our prayer for our loved one today:
Isaiah 49:9 NLT [9] I will say to the prisoners, 'Come out in freedom,' and to those in darkness, 'Come into the light.'
Abba daddy, we come before you today because we know that you are our living water, our source of life and hope. That when all else feels like it's crumbling around us, you are holding us together. Lord, thank you that you desire freedom! Freedom for any of us who are sitting in the darkness today. Lord, I pray that you would plant a seed of desire in (our loved one's) heart today for freedom Lord, as (he/she) lives in the darkness. And we pray today that you will whisper into (our loved one's) heart "come into the light." Lord, we pray that today will be the day that (our loved one) would make that decision to step into the freedom of your light. Lord, we believe that you are at work, in our lives, in our loved one's life. Today we choose to trust you completely, knowing that you desire restoration for all of us. He Will Rescue
"Because he rescues the poor at the first sign of need, the destitute who have run out of luck. He opens a place in his heart for the down-and-out, he restores the wretched of the earth. ...when they bleed, he bleeds; when they die, he dies.". Psalm 72:12-14 Msg.

He not only sees your loved one, he not only loves them, but He cares so deeply, loves so fully that when they suffer, He suffers with them.
And it says that He WILL restore them.
He's always at work my friends.
Never ever give up hope.
September 29, 2026 Our prayer for our loved one today:
Psalm 72:12-14 NIV [12] For he will deliver the needy who cry out, the afflicted who have no one to help. [13] He will take pity on the weak and the needy and save the needy from death. [14] He will rescue them from oppression and violence, for precious is their blood in his sight.
Lord, thank you that you are our Heavenly Father, our Abba Daddy, the One who loves us perfectly and completely. Lord thank you that your heart is for us and you only desire the best for us. Lord, thank you this morning that you promise to take care of (our loved one) who is helpless and poor when (he/she) cries out to you. Lord, right now you are the only one who can defend (him/her). Thank you that you promise in your word to care for the weak and needy and that you will rescue (our loved one). Lord, save (our loved one) from the oppression (he/she) is battling right now, today and save (our loved one) from any violence (he/she) may encounter. Lord, because we KNOW that (our loved one's) life is so precious to You. Lord, thank you that you love (our loved one) more than we do. We sit at your feet today, grateful for your saving power. When You Call, He Will Anser
He hears you…
He hears the hurting and wounded crying out, desperate to be saved from the darkness that enfolds them.
He hears the cries of our loved one's struggling, dying and literally one whisper away from being saved, yet unable to say the words.
And in these verses we hear the story of redemption. Of a rebellious, stubborn, unfaithful man who was running from God. In his struggle, in the depth of his despair, he finally cried out and said “Lord, save me.” And he was delivered.
When things seem hopeless, when they can’t always cry out on their own behalf, we have one line of defense that is ALWAYS effective...
It is our prayers.
And God hears you. He hears your pain-filed pleas. And when you call, He will answer.
September 28, 2026 Our prayer for our loved one today:
Jonah 2:2,6-7,9 NIV
[2] He said: “In my distress I called to the Lord, and he answered me. From deep in the realm of the dead I called for help, and you listened to my cry [6] ...But you, Lord my God, brought my life up from the pit [ 7] “When my life was ebbing away, I remembered you, Lord, and my prayer rose to you, to your holy temple [9] But I, with shouts of grateful praise, will sacrifice to you. What I have vowed I will make good. I will say, ‘Salvation comes from the Lord.’ ”
Father, we join you today, this moment, interceding on behalf of [our loved one]. Lord, [he/she] is sitting in darkness. [He/she] is in a pit that [he/she] can't see [his/her] way out of. Lord, we pray that in [his/her] distress [our loved one] would cry out to you and you will answer [him/her]. We agree that you alone can bring [his/her] life out of the hole [his/her] is in. As [our loved one's] life is ebbing away I pray that [our loved one] would remember you Lord and that a prayer would rise from [his/her] lips to your Holy temple. I believe that soon shouts of grateful praise will come from [our loved one’s] lips and [he/she] will cry "Salvation comes from the Lord!" You Redeemed My Life
He hears our cries sweet friends. He listens to our pleas, even from the depths of the pit.
And He is whispering in your ear today....
"Do not fear. I will redeem your life. I will redeem your loved one's life."
No one is too lost to be saved.
That is the hope we walk in today.

Father God, you are our defender Lord. You guard us and protect us. Today (our loved one) is in the pit. Lord, we pray that (he/she) will call on Your name from the depths of the deep, that dark hole they are encased in. Lord, hear our plea for relief, hear (our loved one's) plea for relief...for (his/her) cry for help! Lord, we know that you come near to us when we call to you! Lord, draw near to (our loved one). Whisper in (his/her) ear..."Do not fear." Lord, we ask that you take up (our loved one's) case and that today You redeem (our loved one's) life, as only you can do. [1-8] God, you're my last chance of the day. I spend the night on my knees before you. Put me on your salvation agenda; take notes on the trouble I'm in. I've had my fill of trouble; I'm camped on the edge of hell. I'm written off as a lost cause, one more statistic, a hopeless case. Abandoned as already dead, one more body in a stack of corpses, And not so much as a gravestone--- I'm a black hole in oblivion. You've dropped me into a bottomless pit, sunk me in a pitch-black abyss. I'm caught in a maze and can't find my way out, blinded by tears of pain and frustration. Your love, God, is my song, and I'll sing it! I'm forever telling everyone how faithful you are. I'll never quit telling the story of your love.
Lord God, we cry out to you today because you are our last chance! We spend day and night on our knees before you. Lord, we pray on behalf of (our loved one). We ask that you put (our loved one) on your salvation agenda! Lord, take note of the trouble (he/she) is in. My heart knows that (our loved one) has had (his/her) fill of trouble. Father God, we come before you today with heavy hearts, feeling lost, feeling alone, feeling like the forgotten ones because we love the forgotten ones. Lord, we look to you for love and comfort. Lord, thank you that your promises bring us hope. Lord, thank you that you will never forget (our loved one). Lord, you created (our loved one) and you have written (his/her) name on the palm of your hand! How wonderful and precious that is! Lord, thank you that you are waging a battle for (our loved one) right now and that you will fight against whoever fights (him/her). A Spacious Place
The chords of death…”I don’t want to live this way, but I don’t know any other way to live.”
The overwhelming hopelessness…”There is no way out.”
The cry for help…”Save me. Free me.”
When we cry to him....
He will reach down and take hold of us.
He will rescue...
And he will set us in a spacious place.
His promises never change. Hold on, this pain will end.

Glory Strength!
I was taught as a young person to be self-sufficient and to persevere. It was one of my strengths. I was told I was dogmatic and when I set a goal I rarely fell short.
But when addiction hit our family, I soon realized that I could have been Ironman or Wonder Woman and still would not have had the strength on my own to handle the mayhem that was my life.
We soon came to the realization that there was only One that could restore us to sanity.
When we've tried everything we can to do this on our own, and we fail again and again, we come to realize that our strength isn't enough.
When we do, it is then that we are able to surrender and ask
God to fill us with His strength, the glory-strength that only He can give us. So we are then equipped to stick it out for the long-haul.
The kind of strength that can endure the unendurable and spills over into JOY!
Praying this for us.

September 21, 2026 Our Prayer for our Loved One Today:
Colossians 1:9-12 MSG [9-12] Be assured that from the first day we heard of you, we haven't stopped praying for you, asking God to give you wise minds and spirits attuned to his will... We pray that you'll live well for the Master, making him proud. As you learn more and more how God works, you will learn how to do your work. We pray that you'll have the strength to stick it out over the long haul---not the grim strength of gritting your teeth but the glory-strength God gives. It is strength that endures the unendurable and spills over into joy, thanking the Father who makes us strong enough to take part in everything bright and beautiful that he has for us.
Father God, we intercede today on behalf of all of our loved ones. We cry out today for those who are in the throes of an addictions or oppression, those who are choosing the hard work of recovery and all those who are struggling day to day as they walk through a dark valley. Lord, we will not stop praying for [our loved one]. We ask that You give [our loved one] a wise mind and spirit attuned to Your will. We pray that [our loved one] would choose to live well for You, making You proud. We pray as [our loved one] learns more and more about how You work and about doing Your work through [his/her] transformation, that [he/she] would stick it out for the long-haul with the strength that endures the unendurable and spills over into JOY. Lord we pray [our loved one] will overflow with thanksgiving for You, who makes us strong enough to take part in everything bright and beautiful that You have ready for [him/her] in [his/her] life! Wonderful Works
One of the journeys God has taken me on through all of the challenges over the years has been to see things like he sees them. To see PEOPLE like he sees them. To see the value in every single person that I meet. To radically accept and love others without judgement. Jesus did that. He hung out with all the outcast of his time.
And the hardest people to do that with our the ones closest to us. The ones that hurt us. The ones who disappoint us.
So how do we do that? How do we see them like Christ sees them?
We pray.
We pray scriptures over them that change our heart towards them. And we thank God for these beautiful ones we call sons and daughters, husbands and wives, moms and dads, sisters and brothers. And we pray exactly what we want to see.
We pray as if.
September 20, 2026 Our prayer for our loved one today:
Psalm 139:13-14,16,24 NIV [13] For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. [14] I 13, 2024 you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. [16] .....all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. [24]....lead me in the way everlasting.
Lord, we come before you this morning with praise and thanksgiving. Because we know God that nothing you do is a mistake. Lord, you created (our loved one's) inmost being; you knit (our loved one) together in my womb. Lord, I praise you because (our loved one) is perfectly and wonderfully made! All of your works are wonderful. We believe that and know that full well! Lord, we believe that all of (our loved one) days were ordained for (him/her) and were written in your book long before they will ever come to be. Lord, we believe that you have a special plan for (our loved one). Lead (him/her) in the way everlasting today Lord so that your plan can be fulfilled. We ask this with confidence in your perfect will! In Jesus Name we pray! Amen!

Words of Hope
That special one...
The one that everyone has given up on.
God has not.
And He is restoring this special one.
What we see as hopeless, God sees as possible.
What we see as broken, God sees as whole.
And in God's perfect timing, God is transfiorming their lives into a beautiful story of redemption.
We can't begin to see all that He is doing behind the scenes as He hears our heart's cry for our Loved One and answers those prayers. His ways are not our ways. A nd His timing is not always our timing. But in His absolute perfect timing, He will make everything beautiful again.
These words are our hope.
September 19, 2026 Our prayer for our loved one today:
Ecclesiastes 3:11 NLT
[11] Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart. but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end.
Lord we come before you today, filled with questions, with fears, at times with resignation. Lord, we come to you looking for peace. For hope. And we thank you that your word gives us that hope! Lord, we believe that you have made everything perfectly and wonderfully. Lord, we believe that you have planted eternity in [our loved one's] heart. That you created [him/her] with a desire for you and your love. Lord, we know that in your perfect time [our loved one] will discover that desire, will choose abundance over desperation, will choose life over death. And Lord, we believe that in your perfect time [he/she] will once again become bright and beautiful, and all that you have created [our loved one] to be! Lord, we can' teen begin to imagine all you are doing in [our loved one's] life right now. We can't see the big picture, the whole scope of your work. But Lord, we stand on your promises today and we choose trust instead of fear, hope where there is none and love above all else. We thank you that you can make our life bright and beautiful as well. We pray these things in your son's precious name! Amen!

He Cares for You
Fear and anxiety are sadly, just a normal part of the journey that we are on in life in general, but even more so when we have a loved one that struggles. There is nothing new under the sun, so this is talked about extensively in God's love letter to us.
Friends, he does not want us to be a slave to fear. He does not want us to be a slave to worry. He does not want us to be a slave to anxiety.
We are his children. And like we comforted our own babies with our love, when they were fearful or anxious, so he longs to comfort us.
And our sweet loved ones...well they live with fear and anxiety every single moment of every day. They are trapped in a world they didn't ask for. A world that is foreign.
One they don't belong in. And deep down they desire to be released from that world.
Praying today that each of us would take our deepest worries and fears and lay them at the foot of the cross.
September 18, 2026 Our Prayer for our Loved One today:
1 Peter 5:7 NLT [7] Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.
Lord, we sit at your feet this morning filled with the worries and fears of today. Lord, sometimes the burden is just too heavy to carry. And Lord, we don't want to carry it alone. This morning we release the yoke that is choking us, we lift it off of our shoulders and lay it at the foot of the cross. We believe that we don't have to be a slave to anxiety or fear and we release those to you as well. Lord, we know that [our loved one] struggles with irrational fears. The fear of a different life. The fear of disappointing us. The fear of living life on life’s terms. And we pray against those fears and anxieties. We declare peace for [our loved one]. We declare a sound mind for [our loved one]. We declare power for [our loved one]. The power to make the choice today to live. And Lord, we pray that in the way only you can, that you would wrap [our loved one] in your love today, that through some beautifully orchestrated circumstance [he/she] would see you and how deeply you care for [him/her]. Lord, we thank you for watching over [our loved one] and keeping [him/her] close to You. We pray this in Your Son's Holy Name. Amen

The Miracle of Hope
Today, no doubt, you are suffering. Life would be hard regardless, but our current circumstances create even more hardship.
In the middle of the muck and the difficulties and the ugly, it's really hard to see when or how or where things are going to end. Hard to visualize things getting better. Hard to picture things different. Hard to imagine our loved one free and healthy and living in abundance.
Right now there is a lot we don't know. Much we don't understand. And yet, truth says that faith is believing in what is unseen. That in God's perfect timing we will "see."
These verses promise us that we WILL share in His glory. And after this time of suffering...
He will restore them.
He will support them.
He will strengthen them.
And he will place them on a firm foundation.
So we can look down the road and choose to look at the future in one of 2 ways. Either the way it is now or the way we believe God will have it be in his perfect timing.
That is the miracle of hope.
September 16, 2026 Our prayer for our loved one today:
1 Peter 5:10 NLT [10] In his kindness God called you to share in his eternal glory by means of Christ Jesus. So after you have suffered a little while, he will restore, support, and strengthen you, and he will place you on a firm foundation.
Lord God, You are all loving, all powerful and all kind. And in Your amazing kindness, you have called (our loved one) to share in Your eternal glory through your son Christ Jesus, who died for us. Lord (our loved one) is suffering. (He/She) is hurting. Lord, we believe Your promise today that (our loved ones) suffering will end and at that glorious time You will restore, support and strengthen (our loved one). You will place (him/her) on the firm foundation of Your love and grace and mercy. Lord we believe this promise today. We pray with confidence that this will come to pass in your perfect timing. In Your Son's name we pray. Amen

Hope for the Future
I was sitting with a woman in prison last night and we were talking. She was struggling to visualize her future knowing that she had failed so many times. But this was the first time that she was transitioning with faith support. I said "what do you know about God? What is the truth?" She wasn't sure. And I said, "Jer 29:11 says this...that God has great plans for you. He's already determined them in advance.
And those plans are for peace, for prosper and for a future filled with hope!"
Sweet friends, that is His plan for all of us. He has a plan for you, in spite of your circumstances. He has a plan for your child in spite of their current condition. And our job is to keep the promise of hope in front of us and keep praying it into our lives and our loved one's lives.
September 16, 2026 Our prayer for our loved one today:
Jeremiah 29:11-13 NIV [11] For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. [12] Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. [13] You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
Lord God, we THANK YOU that you created us all perfectly and wonderfully. You created (our loved one) and you know everything about (him/her). And Lord I believe that you have a perfect plan for (our loved one). A plan to prosper (our loved one) and not to harm (him/her). Lord, Your perfect plan is to give (our loved one) hope and to give (him/her) a future. Lord, I pray that (our loved one) will call on you today, that (he/she) would come to you and pray to you because we know that You will listen! Lord, we pray that (our loved one) will seek you with all of (his/her) heart and that when (he/she) does we will rejoice because you will answer! Lord, thank you for this amazing promise for (our loved one) today! We claim this in Jesus precious name. Amen!

Remember Who They Are
Do you remember?
Do you remember your sweet Loved One when you first met them, whether it was by birth, or by divine appointment?
Do you remember the core of who they are? The love, the goodness, the perseverance? The very things that drive us to try to save them?
We don’t have to wait to pray all that is good into their lives. Through the power of a living God, we can call these things into their lives today.
September 15, 2026 Our prayer for our Loved One today:
2 Peter 1:5-7 [5] For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith, goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; [6] and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; [7] and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love.
Father, we believe that our tongues have the power of life and death. We believe our thoughts and words matter. So today we speak life. We call things forth that don’t exist as if they do. We thank you that you have begun a good work in [our Loved One] and will see it through to completion. Lord, for this reason, we ask that you would give [our Loved One] the gift of a tiny seed of faith. Allow [him/her] to grow in power and might, and to add to [his/her] faith, goodness; to add to [his/her] goodness, knowledge; to add to his knowledge, self-control. Lord, add to self-control perseverance and to perseverance godliness. Lord, we ask that you would grow [our Loved One] in [his/her] love for you and that [he/she] would develop [his/her] love for others as [he/she] receives your love. We pray that you would strengthen [our Loved One] and move [him/her] toward the life that you have in store for [him/her]. Lord, we believe this for [our Loved One] today, and we pray this in your Son’s precious name. Amen!

Living Water
Our souls were created with a longing to be filled. God created us to be filled with Him.
We look to the things that he created to fill our spirits rather than to the creator himself. Especially when we feel lost or alone or broken, we look to our friends (who often fail us), we look to our spouses (who can disappoint us), we look to money (and we always come up short), we look to our corporate success (and that completely stresses us out). We may even look to drugs or alcohol ourselves (I need that cigarette or I deserve that glass of wine.)
But the only thing that is truly going to fill our empty souls and the only thing that is going to truly fill our loved one’s empty souls, is if we drink the living water, the source of life itself, that comes from God above.
Praying today that you would drink from the refreshing well of his love and his peace. And praying that our loved ones would do the same.
September 11, 2026 Our prayer for our loved one today:
John 4:10-11,13-14 NIV [10] Jesus answered her, “If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him, and he would have given you living water.” [11] Where can you get this living water? [13] Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, [14] but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”
Good morning, Father God. The words of Jesus bring hope to us this morning. You have a gift you want to give (our loved one) today. Lord, we know that if (our loved one) ask you, you will give (him/her) living water. We believe that there is only one place to get this living water. (Our loved one) can drink the water of this world and (he/she) will always be thirsty for more. But Lord, your word says that if (our loved one) drinks the water YOU give (him/her) (he/she) will never thirst again. We pray today that (our loved one) would drink the water that You give (him/her) and that it will become in (him/her) a spring of water welling up to a life of freedom! We confidently call this in to being today! In Jesus Name. Amen!

More than Enough
Not long ago I was talking to a mom, so much like myself. Where the deep wounds of our past drove us to behave a certain way in the here and now.
Needing love.
Needing control.
Needing justification.
Needing validation.
Needing to atone for our sins or the sins that were perpetrated on us in our past.
Because we didn’t believe that we were worthy.
Because we didn’t believe that we could be completely healed.
Because we didn’t believe that we were “enough.”
But in Him, my friends. You are more than enough. You have been made new! Nothing in your past justifies OR holds you back. If you want to be completely free, believe this one thing today.
You have been made new!
And this same truth, this same transformation is waiting for our loved ones. It will not be overdue a single day.
September 10, 2026 Our prayer for our loved one today:
2 Corinthians 5:17,19 NLT[17] This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! [19] For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people's sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation.
Oh Lord our Lord, what a glorious God you are! You have given us an amazing gift. The gift of new life in You. We pray today for this revelation in [our loved one]. Because of your death on the cross, we believe that [our loved one] can become a new creation through you. [His/her] old life will be completely gone and [his/her] new life will begin. What a day that will be. Lord, for those of us who love you and have already received this gift, we request of you today that [our loved one] would once and for all be reconciled with you. We believe this day of reconciliation will come in your perfect timing and ask Lord that it would come quickly. Lord we thank you for your gift of rebirth through Christ! In Jesus name we pray. Amen!

A Full Pardon
The spirit of condemnation. The tool he uses to keep us sick.
“I am bad.” “I am an addict.” “I am the sum of my failures.” “I will never get better”
The momentary numbing of the emotional pain always brings us
back to bondage.
Today we pray against the spirit of condemnation and the spirit of failure.
But this is why He came. To bear that shame on the cross.
No guilt, no shame.
A full pardon
September 9, 2026 Our prayer for our loved one today:
Romans 8:1-2 NIV[1] Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, [2] because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.
Father we come before you today with the authority of the suffering Jesus Christ paid on the cross. We thank you that because of his death we don’t have to live in lies and deception, that we can walk in truth. We pray against any spirit of condemnation or failure that has taken hold of [our loved one]. We believe that through Christ Jesus, your Spirit, who gives life to [our loved one], will set [him/her] free from sin and death. We believe that through you, true freedom will come to [our loved one]. We pray that all of [our loved one’s] chains will be broken today. We pray this with confidence in your son's Holy and precious name. Amen

Saving Grace
One of the things that we have loved doing throughout our marriage is camping. Recently we were at a local state park and it struck me in a new way….how every tree, every flower, every plant, every animal is unique and were divinely placed here on this earth for a reason. Each relying on one another for survival. Without that inter-dependence they would not be able to live.
And we are no different. We were all created intentionally for a very specific purpose, interdependent on one another for love and relationship. God put your loved one on this Earth for a determined amount of time to do predetermined work, that he has planned since the beginning of the time.
But He made us different then the plants and animals. He gave us free will. And it is in that free will that we get to choose whether or not we are going to step into all that God’s plan entails for us.
We were not a mistake. Our loved one was not a mistake.
We are all God’s precious handiwork.
Praying today that our lives would become the masterpiece that He desires each one of us to become.
September 8, 2026 Our prayer for our loved one today.
Ephesians 2:8-10 NIV [8] For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith---and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God--- [9] not by works, so that no one can boast[10] For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
Lord, we come to you today thankful for the grace that You give us. We know that it is by that grace alone that [our loved one] will be saved, when [he/she] cries out in faith to You. And this is not from [him/her] or because of any one of us, it is a free gift from You Lord. This will not be accomplished through any works [our loved one] does or does not do, there is nothing that [he/she] can do to earn this gift. Lord, we pray this comes about miraculously, so the only thing [he/she] will ever be able to boost in is Your Power in [his/her] life. Lord, we believe that [our loved one] is your perfect handiwork, your masterpiece. We agree that you created [our loved one] in Christ Jesus to do great things in this world. Things that you already know about. Things you have already prepared in advance for [our loved one] to do. So Lord, we call out to you today that [our loved one] would whisper "Lord, I need you." We trust this will come to pass in Your perfect timing. We thank you Abba daddy, as we pray in Your Son's precious name. Amen!
